Great place for Mediterranean cuisines in Iowa City. We had a grill platter which came with two grill items (chosen from four... different options) and a falafel sandwich. We took beef kafta for both of our grill items and french fries along with babaganoush as sides. They gave us a free falafel with that. The taste of beef kafta was really good specially with the green chillipaste. Falafels were very crispy outside and soft inside with great flavor. I think one of the best Falafels I have ever had.The baba ganoush was little tangy and bitter in taste with a very smoky flavour. In combination the flavour was very deliciousand super addictive. We liked all the food very much. Read more

My favorite restaurant in Iowa City. Not the cheapest food around, but it?s truly quality. The falafel and the hummus are some... of the best I?ve had. I usually get the half gyro (which is plenty) along with chips and hummus. But the chicken shawarma isalso very good. It?s pretty small inside, but there?s lots of Outdoor seating around if it?s nice out. You won?t bedisappointed! Read more

Fantastic spot for Falafel. The staff are really awesome, welcoming and informative. The prices are good too. I only had their... falafel appetizer, and it was well worth it. It was perfectly crunchy and flaky. Their free sauce selection is fantastictoo. They also have a spot to sit and eat, with wooden benches and stylish stained glass. Highly recommend! Read more

The falafel sandwich is so consistent and delicious, it's unrivaled. French fries and shawarma are great as well. Would... recommend trying the various sauces - they are excellent. Always make it a point to stop here when I'm in Iowa City. Read more

We ordered the sultan?s combo with falafel balls, tabooleh, couscous, and humus. All items had a lot of garlic, which was fine... with me. The falafel balls was freshly made and crispy. The tabooleh was made in house and full of flavor. The couscous wasspicy with a lot of carrots. The humus was very good. They don?t seem to have tahini sauce. The pita was just bread in the shapeof a pita. Prices are a little on the high side. Read more

This is a small restaurant in downtown Iowa city. Parking might be a bit hard to find. Coming to the food: 1. The falafel was... excellent- crunchy, soft and perfect taste. The hummus complimented it very well. The Baba Ganoush (5/5) was smoky and creamy. Iwould definitely order it. The fires were amazing too. I?m not a big fan of Baklava but it was very very good here. The size andtaste of Turkish coffee was a tad bit of a disappointment. But overall a great place. The staff were very friendly and polite. The seating indoor was limited but there was lot of seating outdoor. Read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I love their hummus! It is so flavorful. I can't think of a better dipping medium for... vegetables. Very good. I love their falafel as well. The restaurant has outdoor seating. During summer months, there aremusical bands playing for the people enjoying their meals outdoors. This restaurant is located in a very cute area. Read more
