Pizza Ranch restaurants are big out west. Smorgasbord style pizza, salad bar and hot bar, plus ice cream. Great place for kids... as there was a fun center attached to this PR. As with everything being expensive, I thought that $16 was a bit pricy for thisplace a d quality of food. Seemed pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Read more

Dylan at the front counter was so nice and personable! He asked if we had any requests and had a great attitude. As someone... who?s worked in hospitality for almost 10 years this is exactly the type of employee we all wish to have. We had mentioned wewere celebrating an engagement the night before; Dylan made our experience memorable and unique, he later came to the table andoffered the newly engaged couple some free buffet coupons. Pizza & Chicken was all fresh, hot and delicious. Dining room andbathroom cleanliness was perfect! Read more

We got there at 3:45 on a Monday. I would say 90% of the tables had dirty dishes on them and the whole time we were there not... one employee came around to clean any table. We ordered a couple pizzas and after 20 minutes went to see if they were done andboth were just sitting on the counter. Majority of food on buffet was empty or nearly empty and I only saw them set out newbreadsticks and 1 new pizza. If there was any manager on duty, they should be FIRED. This is the 2nd time we have come hereafter an appointment at the VA. We definitely won't be coming back Read more

The food at pizza ranch was okay and exactly what you would expect at a buffet pizza place. I did really like their ice cream... machine and dessert pizzas. Very loud atmosphere and kids running everywhere. I would not go back, but I can see the appeal ofthis place as a family-friendly restaurant. Read more

I went today and there was not a lot of food, just salad and vegetables. Only 3 chickens, burn potatoes and 2 trays of pizza and... cheese sticks. I come here to eat and pay the price for my plate for $16. Little Kids touching everything and no parentsupervision, I understand is not the employees responsibility, but at least say something! Kids didn?t have shoes and touchingtheir feet and then going to play with the ice cream machine!!! The Mac and cheese was hard, bronco thin pizza burn and thechicken was so greasy and the skin was also burn. Dirty tables, I had to clean my own table and chairs since no one was around.Iwould never come back, this place has gone down hill. Read more

A) The place was a disaster. Most of the tables were filthy. There was one person cleaning tables. He was very slow about it,... never touched the chairs or benches where people had dropped food. He used the same old dirty rag to "clean" all the tables. Icould see bits of food embedded in it as he wiped down tables. Just a breeding ground for germs. A stack of dirty glasses wereset down at a table next to us and they sat there the entire time. 2) Food choices were mediocre. They had specialty pizzas outwhich is great for trying something new but they had no classics at all the whole time. So no pepperoni for example. The foodthat I had was very good though. I'd liked to have had chicken but it was so greasy the skins were falling off right there inthe buffet. Some sides were gone and never replenished. I usually like the potato wedges for example. 3) It's no fault of thatevening that I went but the acoustics of the place is terrible. Every plate, every fork, every slurp of a glass just echoesthroughout the place. There's a lot of hard surfaces and lack of insulation. It was the filthiness of the place that reallyjust killed the experience. It was bad, bad, bad. Some other things I could overlook but I couldn't wait to get out. I shouldhave gotten pictures. Wish I had. I frequent the Beaver Creek, North Liberty, Pizza Ranch normally and it's night and day. TheNorth Liberty one is always very pleasant to go to. Read more

Karen was phenomenal. She helped us out picking out our cool prizes for playing the games. She even went the extra mile helping... me register my card so we can save the points even if we lose the card! Give that woman a raise! Matter of fact put her incharge because she seemed to be the only employee going above and beyond. Thanks Karen! Read more

We had my son?s birthday at Pizza Ranch and I can?t say enough about how good the staff there was. A special shout out to Alex,... who was the best host possible to make our boys day so special. Alex needs a huge, huge, huge raise and a lot of tips - orwhatever else he likes. Absolutely amazing service and care. Great place to hangout and eat or throw a party. Read more
