I visited Scooter's Coffee in Iowa City for the first time today. It's a very nice looking business -- the colors, signage, and... clean style of the building caught my attention. The drive-through experience is quite nice with an easy to read, well organizedmenu, and fast friendly service. The audio was really clear which made ordering easy. I requested a latte, which was madeperfectly. They had raw sugar available, so that's a bonus. Although a latte seems like a simple beverage, it is actually hardto make one really well, but the person at Scooter's did a great job. Finally got to try out this place today and I must say I was not disappointed and the hype around it was very worthy. I tried... their chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll, and s?mores Frappuccino. My mom tried out their iced mocha with hazelnut. The drinkswere very good and not overly sweet but also not bland just the perfect balance of espresso and flavor. The cinnamon roll andcookie were absolutely delicious. I think the cinnamon roll here is going to become my go to. They?re so nice and soft and tastefresh. The ladies working there were pleasant. Thanks for being patient with me in figuring out what I want and how the rewardsapp works. My only regret is that I had no cash on me to tip. Their service is stylin? fast! Their coffee is astounding!! Plus their staff is pleasant, helpful, and beyond patient! If you have a hankering for breakfast, I... have to reccomend their Everything Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, because it is delicious! Their app is also super easy to use andhas come in handy so far. Yummy! I had a mango smoothie and I?m ready for more. They have coffee, smoothies, hearty breakfast, sweets and treats and much... more. I haven?t tried much yet but it?s been great so far with friendly staff. Also, the app is really nice. You can set it upto use your credit card to pay instantly and easily give a percentage of a tip with just scanning a QR code (plus earn points).You can also use the pre-pay and earn points at the same time with both methods.
