Absolutely fantastic experience at this bar for the two nights I went while out of country. I went later at night when it was... more quiet, both nights had different pairs of bartenders working - but all of them were extremely welcoming & very helpful withdrink suggestions/recommendations. Location seemed very clean & the atmosphere was pretty chill as well. If I do return to IowaCity in the future, I'll be making sure I visit this bar at least one more time. Read more
Overcharged me by $5 for drinks today and when I brought it to the waitress? attention she said ?I already charged your card, so... here is $2.50 that I can give you? and proceeds to hand me random change that she had laying on the bar. Also, I scribbled outmy signature on the receipt, so I better not get charged for the tip that I had put down prior to noticing the overcharge. Read more
Great servers! Very helpful. The BBQ boneless wings were pretty decent and chicken pesto pizza was excellent
This is my road trip stop every year both to and from my location going. Good pizza, attentive servers. Never been disappointed.... Makes waiting a year for the next trip exciting. Read more
Tried to order a large taco pizza on ?Half Price Pizza Tuesday ? through a food delivery, but my order was canceled by Airliner... because they didn?t have large boxes and I was told they Would Not put it in two small boxes. Not super upset, just let downthat they wouldn?t work with me to honor their promotion. Read more
Atmosphere and drinks were fantastic. The food was not good. We ordered a margarita pizza and received a pie smothered in... cheese, burnt basil, and diced tomatoes on top, no sauce at all? crust was about a half inch thick through the whole pizza. I?mnot sure if they?ve ever actually seen what a margarita pizza is supposed to be like. Come here thirsty, not hungry. Read more
We went here at the recommendation of a friend who went to school at U of I. Apparently, she spent more time here than in class... when she was a student 20+ years ago. I can see why. It's a cozy place to tuck in even on a Summer's day. We had a great pizza.If it's indicative of their other menu offerings you won't go wrong. Read more
