Drove all the way from Wyoming to get some real Texas BBQ. Glad I did. Wow this place is truly something to brag about. From... the outside it looks simple, but what a suprise when you walk in! I ordered pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, fried okra, andgumbo. Every bite was delicious. Without a doubt best BBQ I have had to this date. Staff was great. Friendly and kind. Definitely the worst BBQ I?ve had. The brisket was so dry it was a choking hazard. It is disrespectful to serve food that bad... and expect someone to pay money for it. Avoid this place Read more
Super underwhelming barbecue. We ordered the smoked turkey, ribs, brisket, and jalapeño sausage with a side of cole slaw and... fried okra. The ribs were like leather and lacking flavor. The brisket was extract dry and also had no flavor. The turkey wasfine. The sausage was just not good at all and the sides were just whatever. Don?t waste your time. Read more
This is the place for Texas BBQ! Service was great, very friendly. Drinks never dropped below half as she was always by to... refill. Food came out pretty quickly but was absolutely delicious. My pulled pork sandwich was tender and juicy and sweet potatowaffle fries were just the right amount of soft and crunchy. For those with big appetites, you can go wrong with a whole poundof meat on a baked potato! Prices were very reasonable for the serving sizes. Read more
You would think that most places in Texas have their brisket game tight. Not here. Brisket was awful. Ribs were good, sausage... was good. Although much too watery, the gumbo was tasty with generous portions of sausage and pulled pork. The ambiance wasnice, typical for places like this. The people working there were awesome. Saw this place on the side of the road after picking up our car from the shop. First off - huge menu with lots to choose from.... I ended up with brisket and fries. My first visit. Service was great. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I ordered the red beans and rice. The menu... said a large bowl but I could only eat half. I took the other half home. The red beans and rice also had sausage and pulled porkin the bowl. There were also minced onions on top. It was delicious at lunch and still delicious the next day.
