Guys!!! This place is amazing, I just happened to pop in for lunch. The food was fresh and top notch, the margarita… get out... of town! However, what set this place aside was Geraldo, the owners Papa. I’m trying to learn Spanish, he took time to help mepronounce words correctly, and was just plain friendly for my whole visit. This was part of our first take out order and first time trying their food. Overall, excellent taste. The carnitas were some of... the best I\'ve had. Servings were generous. Carne con queso was good, but a little less carne than I expected. Salsa was veryflavorful and about a medium heat. The beans were fresh and very nice. The elote had a nice lime zing. What a blessing it is to have an authentic Mexican restaurant open so close to my home town. This place serves fresh made from... scratch food and the staff could not be more helpful in recommending foods. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave,you are welcomed as family. Absolutely delicious! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Irmo. Their Horchata is one of the best around here. Their meat on... their Torta (Mexican sandwich) was full of flavor and tender. Their spicy sauce was not too spicy with just enough kick. Salsawas fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly and made sure to regularly check on us and refill our drinks. My love and I finally got a chance to pop in and try this place. I have to say this was the best I\'ve had. The chips and salsa... alone were SO good and fresh. My husband and I tried out this place today for lunch. The food was absolutely the best Mexican food we have ever had. The chips... and salsa were great. The salsa was flavorful and just the right amount of kick. We had the al pastor and the asada tacos. Thecilantro, onion, and lime complemented the meat so well. Per the recommendation of our waiter, we tried the cheesecake burritoand it was soooo good! We will totally come back!\n\nIt was $34 pre-tip for the two of us (sodas, 2 meals, and adessert).\n\nAlso, a family had a celebration while we were there and the staff sang for them and one staff member even playedthe violin for the family! This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is superior to the other area restaurants and the staff is... courteous and attentive. If I could give a 6th star, I would! You could easily eat for under ten dollars but I wanted to tryseveral items since it was my first time patronizing this establishment. Read more
