Went through the drive-thru, placed my order for some ice cream and got the total. Pulled up to the window and sat there waiting... and waiting for over 10 minutes, multiple employees saw me at the window while talking amongst themselves and running arounddoing nothing, ignoring my presence. Finally after waving my hands around someone came to the window and asked if I needed help.Asked me what my ordered was and disappeared again. Looks like that place is ran by kids in evening, definitely not going back. Read more

The food was good, but is generally better. There were some items missing from the condiments (salt, ketchup, Freddy Jalapeño... Sauce). The restaurant was also a bit dirty, but the restaurant was just finishing a peak time. Read more

So understaffed. Used to LOVE this place and drive across town to get it but after this experience?we won?t be visiting again.... Ole Freddy would be rolling in his grave if he knew how it?s currently going down in Irmo. Waited forever and I mean like 20minutes only to get the wrong food. When I went in to change it, I had to wait five minutes before even beinggreeted/acknowledged and I went past the whole line. Absolute chaos. All in all this was like a 30 minute trip to Freddy?s drivethrough. Read more

Disorganized and poor customer service ruins what would otherwise be pretty good food. This is a summary of the issues during a... single visit but it follows an overall pattern. The staff does not know how to operate the Freddy's rewards app and program. Thesoda fountain was out of CO2, causing all carbonated drinks to taste flat. I switched to Sweet Tea but it had thatfermented/sour taste that happens when it's left out too long. Yuck. My food was fine and was delivered fairly quickly. Afterfinishing, I returned to the counter and ordered another combo to-go (for my wife). I also ordered a custard. The combo came upquickly but I waited for the custard for 20 minutes. I had to ask for the custard along with my food to be remade since it wasnow cold. Unfortunately this is the common experience I have with all Freddy's locations in the area. I've reported the issuesto corporate which said I would hear back from the local franchisee. I never did, even after numerous follow ups with corporate.They finally just stopped responding. I'm amazed and the staff at this location. In today's economy where it seems most restaurants are happy to find a warm body who... will show up, this place has a super-friendly and competent staff. They are always polite, generally smiling, and working witha sense of urgency that is obviously grounded in taking care of their customers. The food is fresh (no old fries) but reallythe workers is what keeps bringing me back. I will drive further, passing other drive thru places, because I know I will betaken care of here. Everything about Freddy's is bright and cheerful, from the staff to the decor. Food isn't bad for fast food and oooo the... desserts! Covered outdoor seating and a drive thru. Read more

Originally, I had a bad experience so I was sent free combo coupons , went to use them was treated rudely by person on intercom... when we told him we had the coupons. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich meal add Mayo fries Diet Pepsi, a number 1 with cheeseadd Mayo no onion. Dr. Pepper and fries. Received no Mayo on either sandwich , less then half a container of fries. I understandthat the fries sometimes shift and looks smaller then is but in this case none spilled in bag and they didn?t settle incontainers. Also the coupons we got didn?t even cover the cost of the first issue yet we wanted to give the benefit of doubt andjust try what we were given. But to no avail it was worse then the first time and this was the remake. Everything was also coldwhen we went to eat not 10 minutes after receiving food. Update, I received additional meals for my family, yet again they werewrong also I?m my child?s burger they left the surprise of saliva. After several attempts to speak with district manager, Ireceived a updated progress survey to see how the situation was handled . I was brutally honest and finally he contacted mepromised refund for original meal the following day. I called he was not there as promised and was spoken to very rudely byshift manager. The steak burger and fries are delicious. Service was good and crew was nice and courteous. Restaurant was clean and organized.... Plenty of seating in the dining room and condiments are readily available. Steak burger is delicious and I loved the thin friesand the fry dip. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more
