Man, I remember coming in here as a kid and I gotta say, I'm glad it doesn't look the way I remember. All the confederate stuff... is off the walls and everywhere and it looks a lot nicer. The staff was very quick and efficient taking our order and gettingour food out to us. The food itself was great, but the brisket always leaves something to be desired. Which is a bummer cause Ilove a good brisket. It's just the way they do it here that I'm not a fan of. But that's just me. It's chopped, not sliced bythe way. Read more

This has been a favorite place for over 25 years. We love the hash and rice. Unfortunately we left the area due to reassignment.... We are now 2.5 hours away and we travel to Columbia a few times a year to stock up on hash for the freezer. The mustard basesauce is delicious, I grew up on red sauce. The pulled pork is awesome. I had the Mac and cheese this time and it was socreamy. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant has its self has always been very clean. My husband loves the bananapudding. Read more
Me and my wife drive 100 miles just to have their BBQ. It never disappoints no matter how many times we go. Their sauce &... hushpuppies are the absolute best. I recommend the Big Joe basket. I added a picture of our last meal just to get you hungry. Read more
I was traveling through the area and decided to try out Maurice?s for the first time. This location was very easy to get in &... out of with plenty of parking. Nice size dining area with plenty of tables. The service was good and fast. I ordered their BBQsandwich plate with fries and baked beans. I have to say, this was the best BBQ I have ever tasted. I also used their famousMaurice?s golden mustard based sauce and really loved it. I can see why they have a table set up to sell all of their sauces invarious size bottles. I bought a couple bottles for myself. Their fries were also very good, not soaked in grease. I willdefinitely be visiting Maurice?s BBQ Piggy Park again when I come through this area. Read more
First time here. The golden bbq sauce was a surprise, but quit tasty. The sliced brisket was tender and juicy. The portion sizes... were average to small. The prices were fair. I was pleased to get a sample before I chose my entree. The service was quick andthey deliver your order to your table. Read more
