Worst turtle sundae ever!! The fudge and caramel sauce turned rock hard on the ice cream.

Super nice people. Awesome ice cream. They make their own fresh waffle cones. Large servings. No restrooms for guests.

Awesome choice of ice cream here. So many flavors to choose from. Very bright and clean inside. Staff is friendly and... professional. There are a couple of picnic tables outside to hang out and eat your ice cream. We were here on a weekday and itwas not that crowded. There was plenty of parking. Read more

Many flavors and great waffle cones. The young girls were very nice and extremely helpful, but they all seemed a bit stressed... with the woman (I am assuming was the manager on duty) who was getting frustrated with them for every little thing & showing herfrustration while helping customers. A wide variety of flavors to choose from. Closes for winter. Place is usually packed and the parking is extremely limited on... nice days. They usually have waffle cones too which are giant and delicious. Read more

Our favorite ice cream place in Iron Mountain. It has about 30 flavors of Jilbert ice cream. They offer some amazing flavors. If... you?re looking to just have a cup of ice cream, they off ?baby? cups and ?small? cups?. They put an over amount in school liketwo scoops in each - really big. You have to eat it kinda fast before it drips on you because it over hangs the cups. The pricesare amazing low. It might be because I?m from Seattle and the prices are really high, but here, I?ve cream at $3.95 is amazing.Great floats, cones, banana splits. Try this place out. It is a red building with cows in it. Tables outside to eat your sweettreats at as well. Enjoy!! Read more

This is an obligatory stop on our annual trek to (or from) the Keweenaw Penninsula. The restroom is always clean (as is the... store), and the Jilbert's Ice Cream is always good. I get a milkshake for the road ahead, and it's always gone too soon. Sometimes (especially if travelling with grandchildren) we'll legstretch/unwind a little longer in their little picnic areabefore mounting up for The Road Ahead. Over the years, we've stopped at Wausaukee and Crystal Falls for ice cream on the roadtrip as well in order to compare, but found that this Iron Mountain stop is the best. Read more
