I've been coming here for over 20 years, we moved out of the area and while in town for a wedding we had to stop. The parkside... omlet is my favorite and the hash is made fresh, on site. The food did not disappoint and we were seated fairly quickly. Ionly gave 4 stars due to their lack of friendliness, seems like the team wasn't enjoying their job. Read more
Pretty good. We came here twice during our trip to Irondequoit, once for breakfast once for lunch. We liked the ground round... (burger), pancakes, and party melt. Service was slower during lunch, but they were friendly and I could tell that they had goodrapport with the regulars . They play a lot of Fox news, just an FYI, but that seems to eat lot of places around here.Downsides: didn't give us a clean to-go cup, and the complimentary custard wasn't the best custard in the area, and the roastbeef club was pretty dry. We always have great service and delicious food. Prices are very reasonable, and you can sit outside in the summer. They have... tables with umbrellas and even a big tent. It looks small on the outside but there are lots of tables inside. This diner is afavorite for locals. Read more

The best diner in Rochester hands down. The western omelet was delicious and the side of corn beef hash was the best I have ever... had. 5 star experience on a beautiful summer Saturday morning. This is a fun diner that has a great selection of food. I had an omelette that was delicious and a large size plate... ( Had to... take some of it home because I couldn't finish it all. My family was pleased with all their choices. It has outdoor seatingalong with indoor seating and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Went on father's day. The biscuits and gravy was good, eggs were on the wet side. My husband said the home fries tasted a little... funky, he didn't eat them. I know it was Father's day, but by 1ish most people left. We waited a long time to get served andsome tables that came after us were served before us. But all and all, we'd go back. Second time here since moving back. Last time was amazing. The waitress remembered me from over a month ago and is super... friendly. Gave me time to go through the menu without interrupting me, always a plus. I ordered the strip and eggs with thepumpkin soup. The steak was a perfect med rare, it did need some salt and pepper but I'd rather add my own. The eggs andpotatoes were perfect, no seasoning needed for the home fries. Now let's talk about that soup. I remember the first time I had ahome made sweet potato pie, it was life changing. This soup mmmmmm.
