We were staying in town on our vacation to northern Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan. We decided to have diner here as it was... one of the few places not a fast-food chain that was open. They were obviously understaffed and the waitstaff was working superhard to keep up. We did have to wait a very long time after ordering for our food to arrive. My go-to happy place in the area. The menu has a dedicated vegan and a dedicated gluten-free section. The food is delicious and... affordable and the service is always great. The atmosphere is funky and Don and GGs is a great supporter of the arts and queercommunities among others. Read more

This place is so cute, the food is amazing, and our waitress (possibly the owner or manager) was so genuinely friendly. We sat... on the patio, had the ravioli and the black and blue burger (gluten free bun AND fries) and refueled after our day hiking in thearea. They also have a bunch of veg/vegan options, including a vegan fish fry. Please support this place! We will be returningevery time we are in the area, thanks for such a chill, memorable meal. I don't like leaving a bad review but don't order the veggie burger. We ordered them for take out and they were pretty much... inedible. They were a weird half and half of a flour/rice? blend and bean burger. Both sides were dry and bland and even dousedin ketchup this was all my husband and I could stomach of the burgers. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and fries weregood but I don't think we will go back. Read more
Food was mediocre, not horrible, but not the greatest for the prices! The steak we had ordered was OVER cooked when requested... medium rare, they're definitely under staffed as well for sure with only seeing the one waitress, so the wait time was long,thankful to have gotten a warm meal but we won't be back unfortunately.
