Due to the pandemic and other changes, we hadn't been here for about 3 years. We were so looking forward to coming back. We were... not disappointed. The food was every bit as good as the many times that we had experienced it. Good service, clean. We werehere for the lunch buffet. Price has gone up, but reasonable. I always felt that it was under-priced for the selection andquality that they put out. The naan was both crisp, and pillowy, with a lovely flavor. The dosa is no longer free with thebuffet, but if you are a fan of dosa, it's worth it. The chicken tikka masala sauce is addictive. The goat curry is strong, andthe goat is tender. Our friend from WA who became a fan of Indian food in the UK, was delighted. How good is it? Since we werein the area over night, we came twice in 3 days. Read more
Great food. Homemade ????? Didn't know was buffet. It's so tasty & light. Butter chicken/ goat/ chicken curry to die for. Idli/... fresh garlic Naan. Recommended. Great service. Best chai! The best Indian buffet in Irvine.Always fresh and tasty.
It’s highly Americanize version of Indian food not Indian food at all. Bland and without flavor, don’t waste ur money... here. We ordered lamb Karachi and Lam biryani both bland no flavor meat was strange flavorless. Read more
I eat here for dinner and they usually have decent food, but today was the first time in my life I left a restaurant before... eating. They didn't serve us at all! They gave us water and went on to have a conversation with each other while we sat therewaiting to order. I literally closed my menu and put it to the side and they stared at me for a second and went on laughing andtalking three times! It made my blood boil and I'm not a confrontational person so we just left. We went to "India Gate" aboutfive minutes away and got wonderful service and good food (for a cheaper price too). Best lunch buffet!!! I love Indian food so my family took me here for my birthday dinner. We ordered my usual favorites: chicken... masala, aloo hobo, saag paneer, goat curry, and samosas. It was also my first time trying a dosa. Everything was delicious!We’ve been back several times for the lunch buffet. Great great options! Service is also wonderful! Sidenote: Review is forthe Indian food. UPDATE: it’s been over 3 years and a whole pandemic since my last review. Buffet lunch has increased from$11-$12 to now $17.95. The food is still fantastic and this is still my favorite place for both buffet and sit down dinner. Wejust had lunch yesterday (Tuesday afternoon). There was a constant flow of diners but it didn’t get crowded so that was nice.Food was delicious and the service was attentive without feeling overbearing. The last time I was here was prepandemic so I wasvery happy to see that they survived. Wishing them continued success. Please give them a try, you won’t regret it. Read more
