Generally I have not problems with Corner Bakery and have tried many different locations. Food is always good and bakery items... are awesome. This last experience though has pretty much turned me off to them (at least the location at the Tustin MarketPlace. I ordered Chicken Carbonara to go. I did not get at all fancy asking for additional things or taking away from things. I simply ordered just that. I get home and 3 bites in, I am noticing something is not right. There is no chicken in theChicken Carbonara?!?! OK, so I proceed to call them back. I am put on hold immediately. I am on hold for 5 minutes so Idecide might as well drive in. They must be busy, right? As I am parking they finally answer the phone. I explain the issueand that I am walking up so we can discuss then. I show them the order and am told - "OK I will replace it.". Now am I offereda refund - no. Am I offered a beverage or perhaps a cookie or something for the trouble - no, Am I offered a reason I was puton hold for like 10 minutes even though there is no line when I walked in - no. Is it expected that I receive these things -Not really and opinions may vary. However, at any point am I at least offered an apology - HELL NO! Just handed a replacementwith a "here you go" and do I want some utensils, as though this happens all the time and is acceptable. Well to me this is areflection on their management and owners. Great resturant I came here for the first time and a young brown lady helped me out and was super respectful and understanding... that I am very slowly and cannot hear ! She recommended the chocolate bundt cake and its very delicious keep up with the goodservice ! Read more
Ordered a coffee and pecan bar. The coffee was out when I went to fill my cup. It was refilled quickly after I informed them.... Then my luck got worse as I had been given a defective cup that leaked all over. I got another cup from the cashier and enjoyedmy pecan bar. Read more

This is the least appetizing, poor looking presentation ever for a breakfast from the corner bakery at the Tustin... marketplace. The manager should be fired from this place!!! Those raisin crisps are to die for. I can eat a bag a day. My mother in law got me addicted to those delicious crisps. They have... good sandwich and panini, good salads too. The sandwich uses a very good bread, grainy and has great flavors that complimentsthe whole sandwich. Extensive menu, lots to choose from, and the staff is always welcoming and nice. I love this location forits outdoor seating area. So nice to just sit under the shade on a nice day and enjoy a scrumptious meal. Read more
I really, really like Corner Bakery Cafe! My son told me about it and he goes out to restaurants all the time, maybe as much as... I do. The Corner Bakery Cafe has everything going for it. It is very clean which is important to me, a great location, theservice was excellent, many friendly staff to serve you, the menu has a lot of affordable options and importantly, tastyfood! We ordered the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup. I had tuna, it was very good, their bread is excellent. The Tomato Basil soupwas too spicy for my pallet but they changed it, no problem for Broccoli and Cheese (much better, again... for my pallet). Went for breakfast this morning. I?ve enjoyed the pancakes in the past and was ready for some fluffy, warm pancakes. Well guess... what, they were out of pancakes on a Saturday morning. Ugh. Hubby ordered bacon and eggs with potatoes. We?ll guess what, theywere out of potatoes. The eggs were cold and poor presentation. Really CB, you could do much better. Read more
