I really like this hot pot place. There are so many options in Irvine, but I always want to come back to this one. The price is... good and even one order is enough to share with 2 people. I recommend getting the extra meat and sharing. This is always greattoo on a chilly night and they also have a patio so you can bring your dog too and enjoy. Read more

Food was different. The restaurant was clean. Service wasn?t bad. But, their Steam Stack didn?t look all that appetizing. It... came with a cold udon, porridge, and steamed meat (thinly sliced)with steamed Napa cabbage. I found the Steam Stack to be toobland despite dipping it in a spicy sauce. And, it was a bit difficult to eat. After a while, I got sick of it. The food wasdecent but didn?t entertain my taste buds. Read more

So delicious and we can\'t wait to come back! We love good quality hot pot / shabu but don\'t love long lines/crowds, so dPot... is an excellent choice! dPot\'s spacious restaurant with plenty of seating meant that we were able to snag a table for two on awhim. We tried:\n\nPORK BELLY KOREAN KIMCHI PANCAKE: great texture and so. much. flavor! The dipping sauce was also terrific. Would come back just for this tasty app!\n\nAMERICAN STYLE WAGYU BEEF GALBI EYE: tender and fatty\nLAMB: fresh and delicious, not super game-y.\n\nRED BROTH (korean spicy): This was flavorful and not all that spicy to me, which meant that it was superconducive to eating. :)\n\nWHITE BROTH (beef based): Delicious and comforting - a great option if you don\'t enjoy a spicybroth.\n\nRICE NOODLES: perfect texture!\n\nPORRIDGE: Wow, the sesame oil, nori seaweed, and egg mixed in perfectly cooked riceand all the delicious, fatty goodness of your broth of choice (after cooking the meat and veggies) was absolutely sensational! I couldn\'t eat it all but thankfully this reheated pretty well the next day, although naturally the rice soaked up thebroth.\n\nEverything was well-portioned and great bang for buck. The two standard sauces were also top notch, and service wasattentive and wonderful throughout the whole meal. We\'ll definitely be back! Read more

This place was truly excellent! My mom and I are pretty critical but we had a great experience. The red broth was perfect -... savory and spiced and complex but not oily or overly salty. The quality of the meat was really great, and the portions werelarge! This was fantastic and I hope they have success because we\'d like to come back - and are especially appreciative thatthey have outdoor dining! Read more

I was only been to Buena Park location and it was my first time visiting here at Irvine location. Their location was amazing!... Their mall was located right in front of a lake, and nice desert stores and playground were super pluses for my young daughter. The restaurant was very neat and clean. I ordered Galbi Eye with Spicy Thai which is my regular menu at dPot Buena Park. Ourorders came out very quickly and their portion seems a little bigger than other location. The vegetables were very fresh and themeat quality was A+. I tried some of Prime Rib Eye from my wife\'s order, and it was very good, too. But personally, I love myGalbi Eye better since it has a little more texture and flavor in my opinion. Also, we ordered a Fried Cauliflower for ourdaughter and it was so yummy! This will be my must add-on from now on. All servers were very kind and tried to fill out anythingthat we needed. We had a great time since the food was great and their service was great as well! Definitely, we will come backhere again, soon! Read more
