Seated at arrival, service was very kind and quick. I began with the Arnold Palmer, which encompassed a quite flavorful ginger... peach tea and house made lemonade, highly recommend. Then, we ordered the Falafel combo appetizer. The falafel was alsoincredibly flavorful, the hummus was very rich, and the tzatziki was potent of dill. I got the mushroom kabob, which was goodbut not anything WOW. My mom got the stuffed bell pepper, which she seemed to enjoy! The portions were huge and fulfilling and,our server was really friendly. The dishes are huge. If you are too hungry, this is the place for you. The grill is great, only apparently the cook forgot about... us, so the food was a little cold. Read more
Panini grill is usually good but don?t go to the Irvine location. They over cooked my food. I?ve sent emails and called twice.... I?ve talked to two different managers there and they just take my number and rush me off the phone saying that they will call meback and never do. Horrible customer service! Food is bland, Zero authenticity of Mediterranean style. Not happy with the time and money I spent in there. Firstly, the two... seater tables are too small that if we order a plate it would be half the size of table. Secondly the spoon and fork theyprovide are heavy (standard ones for a large tables). Now to other parts, In which Mediterranean world do they serve food insuch a off proportionate manner - only here. Does the food have taste - it's bland, believe me when I say this I have had a lotof Mediterranean dishes, here everything is served bland. Servers and waiters are doing a good job. There are no magic in thetea or juices - everything they have can be bought from a store and mixed with water. This was an exciting find. My wife found this Kabob place, which I thought was more like a fast food place.... But far from it!... Nice sit down restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. I had the steak panini with the strawberry date salad, which was todie for. Definitely going back!!! Read more
