prologue - i got an iced chai latte (but no ice, and extra chai syrup). though the drink was served with no ice, as i had... requested, it was still cold; i feel grateful to the baristas that they made my drink cold without ice. the chai itself, themain attraction of this review, was simply splendid. it felt as though it broke the barriers beyond the normal cheap chailattes?the drink breached the veil beyond simple cinammon and tea. if one tasted this tea, they would to be able to submersethemselves in the sensations of subtle cardamon, a gentle breath of clove, and perhaps, if you listened closely and closed youreyes, vanilla. the cinammon forests that you would guide yourself through with every sip would somehow still not overshadow thedelicate touches of other spice nuances; the tea flavour itself also found itself prevalent, as if it were the metaphoricalcarpet under your feet while traversing the forest of spices. the barista was also nice. We would order from this location for years using postmates (Ubereats), without issue. However during our last two orders, they... got 1 of the drinks wrong twice. The first time not a big deal, mistakes happen. However, that time someone wrote a really largemessage with sharpie. They clearly know who we are by our order and had time to write messages on bags. The 2nd time, the samedrink was wrong. Now I am wondering if the drink order being wrong is deliberate. Are they mad we aren?t going in to tip themand it?s being done via post-mates/Ubereats? What?s the issue? It?s bizarre. One of the baristas who answered seemed defensive,and I get it?he likely didn?t do the order. However, someone is taking the time to write messages on our bags, and yet notchecking or caring enough to ensure the order is correct. They?re printing the drink order, which clearly says the right one,and doing the opposite. Like I said, bizarre. We work from home, and it?s convenient to do post mates. Horrible morning coffee spot. I understand working at 5am sucks but if someone is ordering coffee at 5am that means they have... work in that time as well. A lady with short haircut was extremely passive aggressive and rude to me although that I was beingpolite. Also making an iced coffee should not take more than 20min. Read more
Less decibels and more mopping will be great.
Seemingly always busy they are still fairly fast at getting you served.
