Honestly surprised by the amount of good reviews. And here's why. Went out on Sunday with a friend. The parking around 7 pm on... weekend is a hassle. Loads of cars that are barely moving, no space in the lot. Have to circle around till you luck out. Thatwas a bad timing I guess but it made me have high hopes for the area. My friend arrived earlier. While I was struggling to get aparking spot he had to run looking for an ATM because the restaurant accepted only cash. I find it weird especially due to postcovid changes where everyone has switched to contactless payments and stuff like that. But okay, maybe the machine broke down, whatever. I arrived just to see that at the booth in the front there is just a big sign saying cash only and absolutely no onegreeting new customers. No one seemed to even pay attention to me walking in the main area. I saw my friend, sat down and westarted waiting for someone to take our order. As we talked the time was passing and no one even bothered coming over to evenoffer a drink. I started coughing and my friend had to wave to a waiter in order to get their attention. My friend asked for awater and then the other person came in to take an order. The one who promised to bring the water never even showed up so Inever got it. Considering how long it took for them to take our order for drinks I had to order whatever sounded good while myfriend was ordering because I knew we won't see the waiter any time soon. We got the food which was good, but then again. Afterwe were done with everything we felt completely invisible again. No one bothered that we were waiting for someone to bring acheck. It almost seemed like they were purposefully looking away or avoiding to pass by us. Eventually we had to give this checksign and they brought it to us. Again, if you remember no card, only cash. We gave a bigger bill and it took the guy forever tobring the change. He first went to one corner with the money. They took the $20 and went to anoth Read more

Nice environment and speed service. I come before they close and I was served. I tried plain noodles, sushi pizza and California... roll. All were amazing but the sushi pizza was a little burnt underneath, I don’t know if it is like this or was mistake. Irecommend it. Read more

Man this food was good. I ate like a king. Had takoyaki balls, an OMG roll, and tonkatsu Ramen. I was very pleased with Joe fast... the food came out and the quality of flavor. From the first bight of the takoyaki down to the last sip of the Ramen broth I wasin pure bliss. I will most definitely be back. Read more

Nestled at the back of Irvine's Diamond Plaza, at Tokyo Table you will find a relaxed atmosphere with delicious food! Full bar... and happy hour menu available for a little after-work festivities ???? We tried the pineapple mojito and lychee mojito ???? Myparty had the miso soup, crunchy shrimp roll and assorted tempura (shrimp and chef's choice of veggies) as starters. A goodstart ???? Mains included Chicken Katsu (not pictured), Garlic Shrimp Mahalo Style, and Miso Glazed Black Cod. The ChickenKatsu came with the sauce on the side, allowing the chicken to remain crispy until ready to take that bite! The Garlic Shrimpwas delicious and for me, turned into 2 servings.... And the Miso Glazed Black Cod was light and flaky with a sweetflavor. Rounded off with the meal with Honey Toast. Toasted bread cubes served in a box of bread with Honey and ice cream. Light desert after our meal. If you haven't been here before, I recommend it. They have a great selection of sushi as well???? Read more

Just tried out a new place in Irvine with family. The vibe was great with excellent environment. The foods were good nothing was... special. My dish was chicken and it was delicious and different compared to other places. It was soft and juicy, they have allkinds of sauces and chili sauces to try out. Sushi and cod dish were average. The servers were friendly and attentive. Theprices were $$$ and a little bit pricey. Can’t blame them cuz it is located in Irvine and at jamboree surrounding. Anyway, maybe would try again with their other specialty later on. Came right the time of dinner therefore it started getting busier atthis place. Read more

I’m very disappointed. This is my first time eating here since they’ve been under new management. The food is not good, the... portions are smaller and many items have been removed from the Chicken Katsu Curry dinner. I will not eat here again nor will Irecommend it to friends and family. This plate and place was once my favorite. The price has gone up significantly and thequality and quantity has decreased greatly. Read more

PRE COVID: I ALWAYS come here for the amazing happy hour, especially the late night one. I mean, 50% off ALL rolls! It doesn't... get any better than that!!! Food is a little pricey usually but happy hour is where it's at LOL. My favorite roll ever is theOMG roll! Has a mix of everything and it just goes so well together. We've also had the crunchy roll, spicy salmon, lobsterroll, and much more but those are our usuals. One time I asked the the sushi pizza with no onions, and the waiter said it wouldbe too hard because it's a mix so I said it's ok, and I guess he didn't hear because he brought it out still, onion free! I feltSO bad but I was thankful because it was good. We've also had the wings here (they're okay. Kinda small) and the garlic edamame(SO GOOD). I liked the beef and rice in the stone pot but my boyfriend didn't really like it, so I guess it depends. The drinksare really good as well for happy hour! Overall, we usually have good service but it's the end of the night so it's not toogreat because they're probably tired, understandably. Read more
