Came here on the recommendation in the hotel I was staying at. The restaurant was right next to us. Food was very good. I had... the Aspen sirloin with the blue cheese crust, Mac and cheese, loaded sweet potato.. Also had the deep fried cheesecake which Iprobably shouldn't have. Server was Aaron and he was great.. Stop in here since I was working near by and this is kind of a hidden gem. Environment was fun and had a rustic look. Staff was... friendly. Easy to find near the highway. I had the Big COD sandwich and it was delicious. Should?ve ordered a side of tartersauce to add to what was already on there. Fish was fried just right an had a lot of flavor. Get in here! Lively sports bar guaranteed to lift your mood and satisfy your hunger! Similar layout to what you'll find in... many chain sports bars - a formal dine-in area with wooden booths, and an open-seating bar area with high-top tables or seatingdirectly at the bar. Their menu offers a variety of steaks, burgers, chicken, pork, soups, salads and pizza. Prices arecompetitive, but the proportions are huge! I highly recommend their signature Aspen Sirloin dinner. Who knew melting BlueCheese on a steak could taste so amazing? I also recommend including a stuffed baked potato, where the sour cream is bakedinside the potato and topped with cheese and bacon. You have to eat the potato skin as well, just to enjoy therub-seasoning! They have a full-bar of spirits as well as local and domestic draught beer, available in several sizes ofmugs. It was a good place to have a nice dinner with friends. It's pretty adorable but has nicer items on the menu if you want to... spend more. They had a nice drink selection. I will be back to this location. I was able to wait in line on the app which I findreally convenient. The food didn't take too long and our server was friendly. This restaurant is amazing. Good is an understatement. First of all, we were seated right away and served extremely fast.... Service was awesome. Our server, Maricela (I think) was extremely nice, and just one of those people who love their job, and youcan see it. Secondly, the food quality was awesome. Everything came out hot, and cooked as requested. My family loved everythingwe ate. Also, they had toothpicks free to get, which is a small, but change-making difference. The only negative from me wasthat they didn?t serve mozzarella sticks. Thinking about it, it could be a positive, as mozzarella sticks are my go-to (as youmay know if you?ve seen my other reviews), therefore this saved me room for my entree. Both burgers AND Shrimp & Grits are great! The burger is two patty goodness! Plenty of flavor. Loved the mashed potatoes too.... Shrimp and Grits tasted better than it looks in the to go container and very filling. Thought the large bits of mushrooms wouldnot be good but they have the same texture as the shrimp so I ate everything given to me. A ?little? spicy but definitely wouldget again if in town. Discount for anyone staying at the Fairfield across the parking lot, too. Read more
Great experience at Aspen Creek grill, great menu good food, nice happy hour options. They don't take reservations but they get... tables turned quick. We were quoted 15 minutes for a party of two and were at the table in five. Great service as well,Elizabeth was fantastic, she was very decisive with suggestions for drinks, appetizers and sides. We were wanting for nothingduring our time. Fun place for good food and drinks in a casual environment. Will visit again next time I'm really hungry inDallas. Read more
