Stayed at embassy at so tried the restaurant. Sat in the atrium section of the hotel so nice setting. Our server seemed a... little off. Don?t know if he was new but he couldn?t really help when we asked a good vegetarian option. He was very good atchecking in with us though. Food itself was alright. Did appreciate that you could order from room service menu as well sinceburger type items were not on the menu. Read more
What a Fantastic and Delicious place to eat at this Restaurant in the Embassy Hotel with the beautiful eating area - very... peaceful, and relaxing. Now I see why it is rank Number 1. Looked for to arrive at this hotel, very beautiful environment, food is fine and delicious, thanks Victor and Maritza! Super big... thank you to Greg at the bar (the restaurant was closed at the time so we just ate there)????. Greg told us about roomsavailable when we thought there would not be. Capistrano's is located inside of The Embassy Suites Irving. I'll be honest...I was expecting over-priced and underwhelming room... service. It seems that's just how most things go these days. I STAND CORRECTED. Capistrano's Trattoria is divine dining! Oh myLord, it was simply outstanding. We had the Chicken Parmigiano and the Pan Seared Salmon. AMAZING. Adequate, overpriced hotel food. Service was friendly. There was a large $14 romaine based salad and I asked to substitute... spinach for the romaine. Server checked with someone and was told it's a $4 substitution fee. No thanks. Cajun chicken pasta wasaverage. Good spicy, and the did add fresh jalapenos instead of the canned ones upon request. Be careful when leaving a tip astheir tipping percent suggestion is based on food price plus tax! Tricky and unethical. Read more
