This restaurant is serving up some fantastic breakfast. I\'ve never been and we\'ll I called in my order and they had it ready... in Ten minutes flat they brought it out to me and everything. They have great customer service and I got the big bird breakfast.It came with Two Eggs,Two big pancakes and bacon n one large hash browns all of the food was served Hot. So weird morning required a mental reset and some grub. I passed this place for years saying I\'m gonna stop....today I did. I... almost don\'t want to review it to keep my secret. This place is so cool. Very much an old school diner in the heart ofdowntown. Hasn\'t been remodeled in a coons age, but who cares. The food and the service are AMAZING. If lived closer, I wouldkeep a card on file. Y\'all been adopted. See for lunch when I have an Irving route again. Read more
I’ve been going to Joes coffee shop for 27 years. In the last 10 years service has really gone down. From long waits for a... simple coffee refill, poor food presentation, and rude servers. I would still stick around because it was almost Irvingtradition to dine at Joes. My final straw was yesterday when I kept finding plastics in my coffee. Upon mentioning the issue tomy server, she did not apologize and gave me another refill. To my surprise, there were plastic in that cup of coffee also.Needless to say, this is the last time my family and I will go to Joes. Read more
I wished I could of gave this place a 5 star review based off the lady (she\'s might be the owner) who greeted us as we walked... in and made us laugh. We got to pick where we wanted to sit.\n\nI was disappointed with the server that we had. She didn\'t seemfriendly. I was expecting that service was going to be great based off of all the other reviews on here. We almost felt that shedidn\'t want us there. For this reason... I ate one of my biscuits with gravy and she came and took the plate away before Icould finish my other biscuit. I was still eating the other half of my bacon, eggs, and grits so I\'m not sure why she wouldtake my biscuits and gravy away. I should\'ve said something but she already walked away and we just moved here so I didn\'twant to start anything! Very disappointed!\n\nThe breakfast was good though. I did want to bring the rest of my family here totry other food they have on the menu. However, not sure if we would like to come back because of the server! Several times we have gone there.\nFirst time the eggs were cold , hash browns were cold .\nSecond visit same results. Gave a... low tip. Our first time here. Was a little disappointed because our breakfast plate was COLD to the touch! ???? Service was great though.... Despite the food being COLD; all was very good. Please inform your cook COLD FOOD IS NOT DESIRED.. Especially if we are payingcustomers. Will let out Server know if there\'s ever a NEXT time. Read more
I used to work here some years back, and I recently visited irving and popped in. Still got the attentive service and touch... they are famous for. Your coffee cup will not run dry and you won\'t want for anything as you are truly taken care of by thestaff. Good food great service as always at Joe\'s. Read more
