I didn't know I needed this. And I don't know where to begin. Perhaps with this: FANTASTIC MEAL! Really good food, attentive... staff, all the things you hope for But the best part? My heart is full! The owner/operator of the restaurant came to mytable. Our conversation began in the usual way: an introduction, a check-in, and the bland kindnesses often exchanged betweenstrangers. But then there was a shift. It was subtle, maybe the release of tension in our shoulders, a smile - I'm not reallysure - and before either of us realized it, we were laughing. He taught me a little about his home country (Pakistan), hisculture, his language (Urdu), and even shared a little bit about his family. I told him about mine. And then the food startedcoming! What began, quite literally, as a "cold and stormy night with our hero (me) roaming the streets of Irving" transformedmy rainy Thursday layover into a second Thanksgiving feast.
