I knew about this place for years but never took the time to stop. Roast beef 3 vegis and rolls at 1030a. VERY NICE! Extensive... all day breakfast menu with daily dessert/main dish specials. All prepared and served in a very much old school, "got set down,be right thar" home feel. Tina my waitress was awesome. will be back for breakfast AND the cobbler. Read more
Cool little looking diner. Has that Waffle House style sitting look. The guy that sat us and waited on our table was really... nice. Service was fast. One friend liked the food. My other friend and I did not. They give you a lot of food but it just didn?thave any flavor to it. I had got the meat loaf and you get 3 sides. Service was on point but the food I can pass on. Our server (Tina maybe? Older woman with short grey hair) was the sweetest server I've maybe ever had anywhere. So nice and... helpful and kind. Food was good - man there was a lot of it, LOL. The Mac and cheese & back eyed peas were especially yummy. Read more

This is a new favorite. I went with smothered in gravy, but the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were great that way. The... baked squash hit my taste buds in the right way with a wonderful onion flavor. Also had the fried okra (entree + 3 sides). Therolls were fluffy yeasty crusty good. Tuesday daily special Grilled Chicken with onions and peppers was a little dry, but flavorful, and FYI, the peaches are canned.... The spinach, cabbage homemade roll and cornbread were yummy. The BLT was filled with thick well done bacon and made to orderwith crispy edge homemade fries. The coffee was hot, free flowing and had a smooth bold taste while the sweet tea was cold,fresh and sugary sweet. The staff was friendly and accomplished. The space is cozy and dinerish. We were excited to try this place because of the reviews. It was very easy to find and there is lots of parking. We got to... choose to sit where we wanted. A customer actually told us since we were just standing around waiting and he just got doneeating. Thanks to that customer! Our waitress was "just" okay at first! I think she was just busy. I asked her a question aboutthe food since I've never had it before and she gave me a look like I was being a smart a$$! Anyway, I just wanted to know whatwas put in the dish. But it's okay! ???? I'm glad I know what it is now. She did get better as we spent more time there. That'sthe waitress charm I wanted. Sweet lady probably figured out we weren't being a holes! We ordered a bunch of food and most wasjust bland. The best thing was the corn bread, slaw, salad, and french fries! We do want to try the breakfast.
