Band was great but service and food could use some fine tuning. What bothered me the most was seeing waitresses near the bar... standing chatting with patrons longer than 5. I think i saw one standing with a guy talking for at least 10min ...which givesthe impression that tables and food weren\'t being attended to. This is not your social hour. (Shrugs) Saw a few waitresses hitthe dance floor maybe mgnt allows this for morale purposes or to encourage costumers to also get up but I\'ve just never seenthat before. Mac n cheese and yams yum. Before I start, please know that I am a 20-year restaurant industry executive. With all that said, I rated this location one... star because tonight was an absolute train wreck. On a positive note, the booking process, music, and overall vibe of thislocation are worthy of a 5-star rating. However, when it came to the actual service of food and drinks, the service did notdeserve anything more than one star. We had a party with over ten people, and we only had one server. The server that we had forthe evening was very inexperienced and very nervous! Our orders were not accurate, and the food did not come out in a timelyfashion. The wings were phenomenal! A bright spot in the night for the experience of the food. Orders did not come out the waywe asked, so there were accuracy opportunities in this location. I was told that there was a staffing issue at this location,and that was the cause of the service delay that I experienced. Our server was willing to make things right, but he haddifficulty getting things right initially. Some meals randomly appeared on a table, and there were some instances in whichguests at my table did not get what they ordered. I had to go to the bar multiple times to place a drink order for my table. Bythe way, shout out to the bartender Tammy for taking care of this drink order. And the worst part of it all came when it wastime to pay the bill. My bill was wildly inaccurate as it contained more than four items we did not order as a table. Great atmosphere, the food was amazing!!! Whew I\'m still thinking about that catfish and cabbage. I would suggest more staff.... I went on a Saturday and we waited a long time for our drinks at the bar with only 1 young lady back there working. Once shetook our orders it took her a long time to make the drinks. We went to the bar because it took a while for our waiter to cometake our order. When he did come that was a long process. However the band was great. I have visited Michael\'s back in 2021, the service wasn\'t that good, the food was ok. This time the we visited July 17th to... listen to Soulful Soundz, the band was so good and entertaining ????????????????????????our waiter was an African American malethat was awesome, and very attentive he definitely took care of all of us ! Oh BTW my husband said the drinks were on point! Ijust wished the food choices was more and the food had flavor. However it\'s not a deal breaker we will definitely visitagain. My husband and I visited this establishment this weekend as a pre-anniversary celebration. We arrived around 8:30pm and received... a friendly greeting. There was a large, fun crowd and a great live band. The DJ was also fantastic. There was a long wait forfood but the server let us know ahead of time that it would be a long wait. We didn?t have a table initially but a really nicegentleman found a table for us since we were ?out of towners?. The food was good, as were the drinks. Our server providedexcellent service, checking on us often. My advice is to reserve a table early (fyi, there is a cost to reserve) and to orderfood early. I enjoyed myself here, listening to the band sing and dancing! But the food was ok, I ordered salmon at first but it wasn\'t... cooked like I liked it, but the waitor was kind enough to let me order another dish, so I ordered the catfish and it was ok!
