Great place and great location! It is clean. Also, you have little to no communication with employees. We walked in and ordered... at the kiosk screens. There is no one taking orders which is really good. They have lots of kiosk screens to take orders. Youcan pay by card or cash. Once you order, grab your receipt, and sit anywhere. We ordered chili 5-way, chili deluxe, largefrench fries, cookie dough milk shake, and 2 drinks. You will need to make your own drinks. For the rest of the food andmilkshakes, they call you on the intercom to grab your order. Everything was really good. The last time we ate at a Steak 'nShake was in 2004 in Georgia. The food and milk shake is still good as how we remembered. The only thing is I wish they put morespaghetti noodles because it was good and I had more chili left. I didn't get to take any pictures of it because was in a hurry so I just devoured it but the garlic butter burger was so, so... good. It's a little on the small side and not the type of thing you would want to eat every day, but when you're in the mood fora buttery, rich morsel, this makes for a deliciously decadent quick meal or snack. I only gave it four stars though because Iwas disappointed they no longer carry the Cajun seasoning they used to put on their shoestring fries, which, in my opinion, madethe fries. And also the disgruntled middle aged man working the drive thru window was not very friendly at all so I was lessthan pleased with the customer service but once that heavenly burger hit my lips, all was forgiven. Food is really good, fries are skinny and satisfying to eat, meat is flavorful. Also, every time I?ve gone the people have been... really nice. Highly recommend getting a shake while there, they?re great every time. Read more

First visit was great! Second one, the frisco melt was wrapped in a paper hat the employees (are supposed to) wear. I reached... into the bag to exposed grilled sandwich wrapped in what I had hoped was an unused hat. The manager apologized when brought tohis attention and replaced the sandwich stating they hadn?t received their paper shipment as the reason. I thanked him andfilled out the survey on the receipt favorably since it was made right. Doing so gave me a coupon for a free sandwich I hadn?ttried. Then today, I visit to redeem my coupon, but was told at the drive-through microphone ?we don?t do survey coupons?. Ireplied ?I?m looking at one, this is Steak ?n Shake, right? He said to pull around, so I did and to my surprise, it was the samemanager that fixed things before. He took the coupon, quickly gave it back and said ?it?s expired?. it was two days expired, andI asked ?aren?t you the manager? He replied with arrogance ?I?m the OWNER!? I wish I could retake the survey now. Save yourtime and eat at the many other places in North Irving. Avoid these franchise owned wastes of time. Or at least visit aCORPORATE OWNED Steak ?n Shake. Horrible experience on July 1st. I placed an order for curbside through the app and waited while no car hop came out to me and I... did not receive a phone call. I finally called the restaurant and they employee rudely told me to come through drive-through butI told him I asked for curbside for a reason. He again told me to go through the drive-through and hung up. Once I got to thedrive-through I had to repeat the situation again even though it was the same man I had just talked to. I spent more timewaiting in the drive-through and when he finally gave me my food he essentially threw it in my face and did not make it fresheven though my food had been sitting there for an hour and shut the window in my face. I am now stuck with cold food that Ican't eat and a completely melted milkshake after working a 13 hour shift without a meal and waiting in line for over an hour. Read more
I got to say a family business like this deserves some recognition, although their advertising is a bit off, their burgers are... really small and their fries are very thin and greasy even though the workers are very polite and greeting, they should atleasthandout essentials but very old school place. One thing I got to see before I left is you can actually invest into theirbusiness that?s preety cool to know but overall I would bring family or date here just make sure you size everythingup???????????? This place is absolutely FILTHY!!! None of the cooks wear gloves. The main cook who was preparing our food was picking trash up... off the floor, BLEW HIS NOISE, and then proceeded to add hamburger buns to the stove with his bare hands. He only then rushed toput gloves on after he saw I was taking pictures of him. I asked to speak with the manager and was met by a young Indian manwith a horrible attitude by the name of DISHANT, who replied very smugly that he was in fact the owner. When I asked for hisname he refused to give it to me and told me to go look at my receipt. When I informed him about the cook who was preparing ourfood he told us the only thing he could do was remake it or issue a refund. He didn?t care at all how our food was beingprepared. I don?t know what the health code regulations are in India, but here in AMERICA we wash our hands and wear glovesbefore preparing people's food. If this is what they are doing in front of the customers imagine what they're doing to our foodin the back. If you desire to get COVID, food poisoning, or any other type of disease this is the perfect place to catch it. I?mreporting this establishment to the health department first thing in the morning.
