My shrimp were a bit on the salty side and with the bacon it was a bit too much. The grits were delicious! Would have liked a... bigger portion for the price, especially compared to other dishes coming out of the kitchen. I ordered sausage as a side, wasgiven 1 patty, but it was undercooked. I sure am a fan of Whiskey Cake, Las Colinas. The restaurant is busy at all times and its best to make a reservation, if you... plan on heading there for an evening of drinks and dinner. Ambience : Its usually noisy and crowded in the evenings but thatadds to the fun. There are indoor and outdoor seating options and I recommend making a reservation, if you want to avoid a longwait. Lots of parking available. Drinks : They have a full service bar with a lot of beer options. Their collection ofWhiskey that is brewed inhouse is pretty good. I tried a couple and found them to be really smooth. Food : Their appetizersand salads are quite good. Ordered the Salmon and the Switch up Sandwich - both were well made. For dessert, you have to trythe Whiskey Cake - it's sinfully delicious! Service : Can be a bit slow when the restaurant is crowded. This also leads toforgotten orders and incorrect orders reaching the table. Pricing : Moderate high, not too pricey for the nice ambience andinnovative cuisine. Will I return? : Heck yeah!!! I came in with high expectations and they exceed them! We opted for several appetizers and drinks to split. Duck wings were... juicy and slightly spicy, Brussels were crispy and tangy, and the charcuterie spread had all the flavors! Read more

Went with the shrimp and grits - it was very good. A little bit of my dinner companion's bone in pork chop fell onto my plate... and it too was great. Cool building with a unique bar. Food was very good. Drinks were fabulous. Whiskey cake for dessert was to die for delicious. Staff was very cool and eclectic,... but not very friendly. We weren't waited on for quite a while and I finally got up and grabbed a water pitcher for us myself. Wemade reservations online and asked for a regular table not a high top but we were seated at a high top. The decor is cool andfun. I think it would be a great place to meet friends for drinks and dessert. The place would be 5 stars if the staff couldstop being too cool to speak to you and make conversation. Read more
First time visiting this restaurant and I was definitely not disappointed. I had the green beans to start with and they were... amazing. Wasn’t ready for the spice but found out why they’re blistering, almost wanted to order more. For lunch I had thebone in pork chop and it was well worth it. So tender I didn’t need a knife to cut it. I was on lunch break or I would’vehad a couple whiskeys. Talk about almost 200+, if you enjoy whiskey bourbons you name it they have them.
