We ate here for our anniversary. The food was fantastic. Not one thing was wrong. The staff treated you like royalty. The... ambience was soothing. The view of the Hudson at sunset was breathtaking and there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.The portions were plenty and there were many options on the menu. 10/10. Food, Service and Ambiance. Appetizers not pictured because they were immediately devoured: baked clams, octopus, shrimp... cocktail & arugula salad paired with a Bottle of Pinot Noir. Dinner included the Parm crusted chicken, NY strip steak, Rib eye& Filet Mignon. Sides included truffle mash, creamed spinach and onion rings. Dessert: cheese cake, lava cake & apple tart withvanilla ice-cream + cappuccino?s followed by views of the most beautiful summer sunset. It is a very nice restaurant and first class all the way around. Very clean and respectful. The staff is dressed to the tee. ... Respectful, helpful and extremely polite. They're quick to accommodate you and your needs. The dining experience from the designof the rooms and decor to the plates and silverware are outstanding. The food was excellent. We went for brunch so I had theeggs Benedict. I loved them. Plus you get a nice size portion. I can't wait to go back next week for their steaks which Iunderstand are very good. All dry aged meats. My first visit to Hudson Prime did not disappoint the server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Very nice wine list which is... a must at a steakhouse and most of all the food was excellent we had the thick cut bacon for appetizer which is a must trust meand the the 32oz Tomahawk Steak which was cooked to perfection and more than enough for 2. The restaurant itself is very nicelyappointed and comfortable with a great outdoor deck. So definitely make this a must for your next visit to a steakhouse. Read more
Hudson prime steakhouse never disappoints! I personally love seafood so don?t think this place is all about steak! (Although... their steaks are definitely a cut above the rest!) I love their oysters and Chilean sea bass. Recently they launched a brunchmenu and I was seriously blown away. My husband who is never really pleased with anything was over the moon with their steak andeggs. We have dined at the best steakhouses in Westchester County and Hudson Prime had the best steak he has ever had! I wasobsessed with the crab cake eggs Benedict as well. We retuned for a family birthday brunch and 3 family members couldn?t stopraving about the chicken and waffles! Everything is seriously perfection, from the waitstaff to the bar tender, and the ownersGino & Floria are delightful they make you feel like part of their family. Wonderful meal! Wonderful wine! I went for a team dinner. We had the seafood tower, which was extremely fresh. Grilled oysters... and the taco trio were great as well, but the star of the appetizer show was definitely the octopus. I expected to go and enjoythe steak, which I did, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how equally amazing the appetizers were. Will definitely be back. Read more
We visited Hudson Prime in Irvington when it first opened and have been back twice since! It?s the absolute perfect place for a... celebratory dinner, a romantic date, or a delicious indulgence. The owner, Gino, set a standard for food, design and servicethat is unrivaled. The porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the truffle mashed potatoes were so fantastic we were fightingfor the last bite! End your meal with the espresso martini. Food was delicious but service was so lacking. If you want to play with the big boys in the area, then you have to up your... game. The appetizers were amazing from the shrimp to the artichokes. However, the porterhouse for two was definitely on thesmaller size, as my husband could have consumed the entire steak. We had to ask for water numerous times (only three othertables were occupied) and when it came time for dessert, the waiter took our dessert order and neglected to ask if we wantedcoffee. So the cake was served before the drinks. One thing that disturbs me when dining at what is supposed to be an "upscale"restaurant is when the table is not cleared of crumbs prior to serving coffee. I would highly recommend you add this touch, asit was expected, but not delivered. We had both of the chocolate desserts - mousse and chocolate with peanut butter cake. Bothgood, nothing spectacular. I expected some type of special NY cheesecake and there was no ice cream. We had a lovely eveningwith friends. However, more emphasis should be made to making the customers feel special and wanted.
