The fajita meat that was brought out to my husband and I was like gristle. Never had a problem with this place and always said... it was the best Mexican restaurant to go to, but not anymore. Me and my family went here today after the Steelers football thing (we are from Ohio).. But my uncle recommended this place to... us since he went here a bunch of times, and I'm so glad he did. Iv been here many times and have always had great service and great food, tonight, Friday night we waited 1 hour after ordering... our meals and didn?t get them, asked for a refill on my water, didn?t get it, asked if our meals were coming, she said yes andwaited and never got them. The waitress never stopped and asked if we didn?t anything the entire time. Finally after a full hourwe left. 5-6 people that come in well after us already had their meals, the people that come in just before us, had there mealsgone and paid when we decided to leave. I went to the counter to pay for the cheese dip and one drink, while standing there ourwaitress took dirty dishes from another table and set them on ours, not even knowing we were leaving yet. Subpar service, to be honest. I asked FOUR times for beef tacos with just cheese and tomatoes. When the waitress confirmed no... lettuce later, I explained again just cheese and tomatoes. The order shows up with only lettuce with no cheese or tomatoes. Thefood was okay, but nothing that you should go out of your way for. Very disappointing since this place was really good a fewyears ago. Not sure what happened, but it definitely went downhill. Acapulco Mexican Restaurant, ah where to begin? This restaurant always impresses me. The wait staff is always very friendly and... prompt and the food here is very delicious. I always order something different on the menu, and we always enjoy the meal and theevening out. It's also nice because it's one of a few places who offer Dos Equis Ambar on tap. 25 minute wait on a Saturday night, which was decent compared to a lot of other restaurants. Good food and drinks. The waitstaff... forgot to put our order in, so we had an extra long wait. But the food was worth the wait, and the waiter was very apologetic.Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Will return when we get the chance. Read more
Insanely expensive for a run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. We called in a pick up order, and we must have ordered from an... out-of-date menu with old prices (which admittedly may be our fault), but I was taken aback at the total. Four entrees, a 16 ozcheese dip, and a 16 ounce salsa was over $100. I had to ask for an itemized receipt to ensure we weren't being charged forsomething we didn't order. Food was OK. My $20 burrito wasn't bad but my wife was not thrilled with her $20 fajitas. Our guestsdidn't have much to say. The tomatillo sauce was too spicy for most of the group. I thought it was good, but it was definitelynot advertised as a spicy salsa on the menu. I know there isn't great Mexican food in this area, but this place isn't theexception.
