Excellent Service and Cooking. We have booked Shalimar to cater for many of our parties. And I must say they have always served... to perfection. Owners and Staff are very accommodating and responsive to communication. They are always on time to preparelunch/dinner Stations setup for parties. Quality of Food is always impressive. And our guests have always admired the freshnessand taste of food. For vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes both. I highly recommend their catering service and dine in. Good food and excellent customer service. I visited Shalimar restaurant from Philadelphia and I have to say it was worth the... drive and wait. I reserved my spot as I was told it will be busy and yes it was SUPER busy. Mohsin was my server and he wasgreat. He made sure food came in on time and provided excellent service. Food is good and I would highly recommend this place ifyou love Pakistani food. Service was excellent and everyone working there was polite. Go try it out and share your experience. Read more

So many memories with Shalimar. Always best service and it gives you thehomely feeling. Went to Shalimar a few days back for Aftar; as seen in many polls, this is the best Aftar all-you-can-eatbuffet for 24.99$. I went on a weekday, and it's already full. The staff somehow got us seated at shared tables. Highlyrecommended to book reservations before going as there is not enough seating. Overall the customer service was superb, and thenumber of dishes was ample. The owner and manager were on the spot helping all the customers. Refills are fast and ample. Theplace gets crowded, and you may end up shoulder to shoulder. I do feel they can increase appetizers, chats, gol gappa/Pani puri,and dry BBQ items, which were less. I have been going to Shalimar since I was a kid and they have been a staple in New Jersey for a very long time. When someone... brings up Pakistani Food in New Jersey, Shalimar is always one of the first places that pops up into one's mind. They are theones that introduced the world to the Chicken Cheese Kababs and made Butter Chicken a thing around here. Lots of credit goes tothem for all the delicious food they have brought out to the area over the years! This year for Ramadan my first Iftar at arestaurant was Shalimar's Iftar Buffet and I must say it is one of the best buffets I've ever had. They have so many items anddifferent cuisines its hard deciding what to take. I have attached pics of the different items I enjoyed in the buffet liketheir famous Butter Chicken, Lamb Chops, and various Kababs. If you are deciding on where to go for Iftar, Shalimar should beon top of your list for the amazing buffet they have! Read more
Their Ramadan Iftar buffet had a lot of selections. My favorite is their lamb chops! Even though it was very busy, we were able... to make a plate and enjoy the food for iftar. Their sweets are also amazing and had to take some Jalebis to go for suhoor athome :) Will definitely be back for another iftar iA. Read more
I've been going here since I was a kid. Not much, as far as I can tell, has changed. We had the Monday lunch buffet ($22 plus... tip). Best foods were the meats... Goat curry, goat biryani, chili chicken. Tandoori chicken was good but lacked flavor. Vegdishes were not it. Sweets were yummy, tho. And naan was crispy and goooood. Would return! Read more
