This place is a must when visiting Islamorada. The beautiful and well conceived setting is truly worth the visit. It felt I was... anywhere but Florida. Elegantly dressed tables, impeccable French cuisine, fresh and delicious local ingredients, friendly andwell trained staff. Got there without reservation and were given the best seat in the house to dine in the terrace over abeautiful sunset. Thank you so much for accommodating and providing this magical experience. 3 stars because the location is out of this world…gorgeous! The food was overpriced and seriously disappointing. Suggest you... grab a drink from the bar at sunset and enjoy the view. Seriously beautiful. For dinner, we had oysters (chucking was so so)and a plate of scallops and crab cakes. The scallops were so salty we couldn’t eat them but the Alaskan crab cakes weredelicious. Service is low scale (we poured our own wine) and the wine list is very poor (French restaurant with only one Frenchwine!). So for a French “upscale” restaurant, there is some work to be done. Pierre's has been one of the most picturesque spots in Islamorada for as long as I can remember, which is why I always dreamt... about getting married here. Fortunately for me, that dream came true in June! Pierre's was even more beautiful on our big daythan it ordinarily is. We had a huge tent and dance floor in the sand, where the reception was held after we were married onthe beach. To get some reprieve from the summer heat, we had our cocktail hour inside, which was as beautiful as always. Ifyou're local to Islamorada, you know that Pierre's has had it's ups and downs with service, but my family and I were so thrilledthat the staff and service on our big day were perfect. The food - from happy hour, to dinner to the after-party late nightsnacks were delicious. We heard from many of our guests that it was the most beautiful wedding venue with the best wedding foodthey had ever had. During the planning process the point person did change multiple times which created some confusion along theway, but Delsy was a star and made sure everything was perfect in the end. Read more
This is a great fine dining restaurant in an otherwise casual area. My friends and I went here after drinks and appetizers at... Morada Bay and it was perfect. We had a great table on the balcony, everyone was friendly from those that greeted us when weentered and our server, and all of our food was delicious! Th atmosphere is classy but relaxed, and is perfect for celebrating aspecial occasion or just a date night. Read more
This place is a must if you are in the area of Florida Keys! Wow!! We were looking for a place to eat and definitely this was... the best choice we made. The view was beyond amazing, even more that we went just for the sunset ????!! Besides the spectacularview, the food was really really great! It was very well prepared and delicious! We order some appetizers and entrees, andeverything everything was delicious! Even the complementary bread was amazing. We definitely have to repeat this place. Good restaurant but not a gastronomic restaurant… The bread is the brioche, not real bread and when you ask for salt and... pepper, he gives you the salt that comes from the kitchen ( see the pic). Be a french gastronomic restaurant is not easy … Andthe last thing check your bill, I had two glasses of Merlot at @15 and they charged me 2x$26… For that only 2 stars. But theview is fantastic ????
