Horrible!!!! When we sat down we had to wait 30 minutes for our waiters. Hour and a half go by and we finally get our food, BUT,... the food was raw, cold, and had a bite taken out of it! Nasty! Absolutely nasty! And the table beside us had the same thinghappen to them. Read more
Let's start with I was taken aback when I didn't see and learned they do not have oysters. I guess I felt they should have... considering the location. The food selection/ prices is basically the same as the neighboring restaurant. But we ordered runrunners which was tasty and refreshing considering she the bartender makes them fresh. It was not sweet and syrupy. The chickenwings with jerk seasoning were not a hit. The chicken was cooked too long and taste like they were cooked and sat for some time.And when ordered they just drizzle your flavor requested sauce on it and serve. So if your looking for cooked with the sauce toorder wings this ain't it. The blackened mahi mahi sandwich was not bad on brioche bun. But the pickle I guess they considereda garnish and not to be eaten was soggy and beat down. The grilled tacos looked appealing but was messy to eat because of howwet it was with the ingredients. Then there was the black pepper... which looked like it had fungus in it. So maybe they are notproperly storing the salt/ pepper. So $100 later and I'm not impressed. Food and drinks are absolutely terrible. The wait staff was very polite and helpful and that's why they get 2 stars instead of... 1. the food was Subpar all around and the drinks were even worse. Please don?t eat here. For such a nice resort you?d think the restaurants would be top notch. Unfortunately, that is not the... case. Service was very slow even though the place wasn?t busy. On the menu fries are advertised as a side and there is also amenu item of chowder smothered fries. My mom ordered the smothered fries and I got a burger and then asked for a side of friesand was immediately told they had no fries....It made no sense to me as my mother had just ordered the smothered fries.Apparently her fries were yuca fries and that was not advertised on the menu. I?d advise they take the side of fries off themenu if they can?t accommodate one of the most popular restaurant food items in the United States. Food was subpar at best. I?vehonestly had better burgers at Applebee?s. My entire party was just flabbergasted at the whole experience here and wouldn?trecommend it to anyone. Read more
We spent a lot of time at the Raw Bar during our stay at the Postcard Inn. The bartender Drew was absolutely awesome and we were... always taken care of. He truly made our trip very enjoyable so we spent a lot of our nights on the 2nd floor bar with him. Wetried almost every appetizer and were never disappointed. The scallops, cold peel and eat shrimp, and crab cakes were by far ourfavorites but you will not be disappointed with anything you order! Chef Aaron came out and spoke with us for a bit and wassuper nice! We didnt have a bad experience with a single staff member! We hope to be back very soon! Read more
