Awesome place, they have a few rv spots and quite a few cabins. 15 minutes to west Yellowstone. All around cool place.

The reason I?m giving this park only two star review is because of Shawn, the owner. We had friends coming with us and they... reserved a cabin. I asked that the cabin be close to our motor home, and they said they would make sure that happened. I toldthem that our friend has a bad knee and can?t walk very far. They said they put them in cabin 4, But when they got there, theywere in cabin one, which is right next to the street and requires a lot of walking to our motorhome. They were not happy withthe cabin location and the street noise. When they confronted Shawn to ask what happened to cabin 4, he said they never saidthat, and that he would have been the only one anybody would have talked to. They asked to be moved, and Shawn told them all thecabins were booked, even though nobody was there. Our friends were very upset. I Confronted Shawn and I showed him thecommunication in writing. He finally admitted that it could have been his daughter that said that. He finally changed theircabin, but by the time he did, our friends were so upset that they didn?t even stay. Very disappointed in the customer servicehere. Also, I resent that they had no trash cans in the RV area. So every time we Took out our trash, we had to walk uphill tothe dumpster. At this point, the only thing I can say about this park is it has a good location. I recommend to the RV park tohave somebody pick up trash daily for the customers, and I recommend better customer service. Read more

Review for "Tepees" only: I booked 4 nights in a "teepee" in coordination with a trip to Yellowstone via AirBnB. I was drawn in... by the bucolic pictures of the teepees and generally positive reviews, which in hindsight now seem very suspicious. The hosttold me he would put in the teepee next to their "lovely river", another complete misrepresentation, it's hardly a river. The 3"tepees" are set between an RV park which will create headlights flashing into your tepee all night and associated noise, andright next to a large and disorganized construction site (I almost crashed into the construction site as it was only "blockedoff" by a thin green string...seriously you can't make this stuff up), enjoy that construction noise during the day (I assume, Idid not last through the night). And to top it off, it is RIGHT OFF probably the busiest highway in Idaho. You will have thesound of big rigs and sirens passing all night long. The reviews that use the word "quiet" really boggle my mind. In additionthis property is not as close to the Yellowstone entrance as many of the reviews will have you believe. It's at least an hour,if not more. I arrived to find the bedding covered in various types of hairs and stains. All this was photographed and submittedto AirBnB. I left the property immediately as in my mind, I deemed this a true "bait and switch". AirBnB quickly refunded me formy stay plus an extra 30% for the incredible disappointment. AirBnB does not hand out refunds willy nilly, you need lots ofdocumentation. So when the host replies that everything was clean, you can be sure he is mistaken. I have stayed at dozens ofAirBnBs around the world with resoundingly positive reviews from all my hosts, 100% of them in fact, (cross reference on AirBnBif you wish). The conditions here were simply unacceptable and misrepresented. I slept in my truck that evening and my trip wasessentially ruined. The host claimed I should have come to his office at 11:30pm to discuss Read more

Owner very nice and offered area sites to see. Construction going on to enlarge and improve the park. Construction did not... disturb us while there. Close to many activities. Will definitely go back. Hopefully by next year they will have sewer at eachsite and a pizza place. The cabins and teepees look awesome. Read more

Decent place to stay, no real amenities but that could have been due to it being under construction at the time of our visit.

Work in progress... Wife and I stayed for a week here on a recent trip to see Yellowstone N.P. We were unable to book an RV park... closer due to the 4th of July weekend. Positives: Nice RV spaces Quiet location off of highway Staff was friendly andaccommodating Negatives: Park facilities are under construction (which we knew up front, just not the extent) No cell service(Verizon) Park Wi-Fi was horrific (1 bar most of the time) Constant dust from construction during work hours In all fairness, Iwould like to come back when all the work is completed. We arrived in the early evening to construction around the park (right across from my cabin) , the host approached me and... introduced himself as Michael, I asked why I was not notified of the renovation ahead of time. I was not given an answer, instead he walked over to a crew member and proceeded to laugh. On the third day of our stay the toilet clogged, I contactedMicheal who dispatched a plumber. The plumber worked for awhile, saying he's never seen this issue, he & Michael talked & agreedI was to be blamed me for the issue. I advised we've only been there a few days & didn't appreciate being blamed. Come to findout it was disposal wipes and a tampon applicator - as I continued to be berated by the plumber, I advised the plumber I was notto blame. He pulled the waste out & brought it to me in the other room as I packed my suitcases to show me what caused theissue. Finally- I yelled, I don't get my period, I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago!!!! It should never have gotten to the pointwhere I have to defend myself as a guest of a place because of a prior resident!! I've never been so insulted! The only goodthing, there was a very nice young lady who apologized for the event. Michael wouldn't even make eye contact. Read more

My husband and I love this place. It's cozy, clean, quiet. The owners respond quickly. I love that essential oils were fusing... and lavender taffy welcomed us to our little home away from home. This is our go to place when we go to Island Park. Read more
