So I wanted to give these guys a second chance. First time they had this oversize kid cooking and his sweat was dripping all... over the food. When I saw that I walked away. But I see positive reviews. So I said why not Went back nothing changed the placeis worse could be renovated floors to oily. I don?t know how the food gets cooked within seconds upon your arrival. They managedto get my order wrong after I paid for delivery so I drove back to the store. They managed to screw up again. The food qualityon a scale of 1 to 5 is a 2 1/2 not recommend this place. Ok this is a add on I just latterly bite into plastic this was just a 3 star review now it?s a 1. That?s wild in less than 4... min Here is my honest opinion: *The food is good yes. *The restaurant does need a update on matching seating that don?t looklike they will break DONT ASK TO ISE THE BATHROOM WITHOUT BRING NAPKINS WITH YOU!!! *Nasty & Very Disturbing. *I don?t kno howthey cook so fast and they only have one person there running both pick up and Uber. I got lucky after a few Uber deliveries onenight deciding to get food her me my self and there where two people but it took them 3 min. *I?m nervous because there isn?tany parking as well is a little suspect. But hey you be the judge. Read more

Absolutely slaps. Nice that it's one of the only places in the area open past like 10pm lol. Life saver because my family came... here after a late flight. Bro, the food absolutely slaps--on par with halal food in the city--even better than some. Not tomention the portions are generous, unlike a lot of places in the city. Everything else on the menu looks bangin' too--def thego-to spot for that late night craving. Read more

Just came out of this establishment. Sad to say this was one of my favorites in Long Island. I will no longer order from this... place as I just had the worst experience by far in any restaurant cafe or anywhere. The worker was extremely rude (heavy setmale with long hair). He was rude from the time we ordered and when I finished paying 10$ a platter. I saw that there was enoughmeat maybe for the palm of my hand. Barely any rice. The platter was half empty. I was furious because I expect what I payfor?.not a palm sized amount of chicken. When I brought it to his attention in a nice way?he immediately huffed and puffed andmumbled under his breath and screamed at the nice fellow who was working the grill. He then sarcastically said do I want moresalad or more napkins. When it was done being repacked he walked over and literally threw the platter towards us and as I saidthank you he walked away. All I heard was throwing of utensils in the kitchen (you can see all that goes on as it?s prettyopen). This is all in front of my wife. Whoever the owner is, I will not be returning and this experience is the type I wouldtell friends and family to sway away from. From the disrespect and the insult of meat given for what I paid, I can literally goanywhere else. I don?t even want this food anymore. Giving a platter away, enjoy! Read more

I must have got them on an off day. I got the lamb over rice. The lamb was a bit oversalted, overcooked, and dry and the rice... was not great. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be as good as Halal Guys on 53rd and 6th but I was expecting it to be atleast on par with Shah's. I honestly think I'm being generous giving it a 3. It was not good. It's kind of hard for me tobelieve that what I had represents the norm for them with all these positive reviews but it's also hard for me to give them asecond chance when I know I can get much better Halal at Shah's. I decided to give Naq's a try for lunch one day after my shift at work. I've been going back ever since. The establishment is... clean and sanitary. The ambience of the staff is super friendly and inviting. And finally, the food is top notch! Always fresh, great sized portions, and the service is extremely fast. I joke with them that they don't even give me a chance to sit downbefore my platter is ready. But overall, a definite recommendation for fresh, healthy, Halal. Read more

After seeing that Naq?s Halal Food had all 5 star reviews, we decided to give it a shot. It is located in Island Park. I had... never gone to any halal spot in that area but we drove there from Flushing to check out the hype. The combo (chicken/lamb) overrice was super fresh! Their quality of meat supersedes that of other combo over rice platters?. We also tried the phillycheesesteak and chopped cheese. Both were good but we preferred the chopped cheese. It?s basically a cheeseburger but allchopped up! I think it tasted better than the philly because it was more cheesy, or maybe also the type of meat? One thing tonote about the ?hot wings? on the menu is that they?re not actually hot wings. They?re just wings that aren?t seasoned, then youcan choose whichever sauce to dip it in, or they can pour it onto the wings for you. Shahid explained to us that when they firstgot the store they were under the impression that they would be hot wings, but those were no longer made...Something along thoselines?I was too focused on the food to pay attention to details ???? We also tried the lamb gyro in a pita, as well mozarellasticks. Their food was fresh, and Shahid was running the store on his own. He was extremely kind and hospitable. We felt like wewere at home!
