And on this day, I wish I was a food safety DOH inspector doing a discreet, pop up inspection. They would have been immediately... fined and shut down. I went in on my lunch break to just grab a to-go platter, which is $6.99/lbs (not bad) but anyone can justwalk in and grab a container and walk straight back to where the food is. There was a very, very limited selection option forfood. Only 3 stations for hot food, one fruit/dessert station and one cold bar. The cold bad had old raw meats sitting out. Ibelieve was one cubed ahi tuna but it was brown in color so it looked like beef. There was residual food debris all over thestations that had not been cleaned up. Some of the hot food selection was so viability old, they were dried out. I literallyonly got a small serving of chicken and broccoli, spicy chicken and general tso because they were the only options that lookedfresh. Food and price was great, but the place is disgustingly dirty and the table staff were obtrusive, not discreet, to the point of... annoyance. The tables and chairs were worn so badly the wood has lost its grain off the veneer and because of that, the tablecan no longer be cleaned properly. Table was so sticky the napkins stuck to it. And anytime my hand touched it, it felt as if itmight stick, too. Waitstaff was TOO quick to remove dishes. At one point a an employee whisked my plate out from beneath mystill hovering fork. After paying by credit card, I was questioned if I intended to leave a tip in cash or not. I went to theregister to get change for that purpose, and upon my return an employee was clearing my table. When she saw I was returning tothe table to have my dessert (and to leave the tip they suggested) she scurried off quickly, leaving my water glass behind- withmy used silverware sticking up out of it. She kept peering around the corner to see when I was done. At this point, I decidedI?d had enough of this place, and leaving most of my ice cream behind, I grabbed a few rainbow cookies on my way to the door soI could enjoy them in my car. This is one of the buffet I like the taste a lot but the place is getting too old. The carpet smells bad, the bathroom sink is... broke and the tablet/chairs needs to be replace. I am not sure if We will be coming back because if the outside looks bad, howthe kitchen will look like. It is ashamed l, the owners doesn't care about the infrastructure. Read more
food wasn't very good. the waitress had an attitude from the first second we walked in. place is grimy. 3 times the bus person... came and took my plate as I was eating off of it. over all the place is just gross. this was a first and a last time for us.would not recommend. Read more
Update: The place is completely run down. The tables bathrooms and floors are horrifically dirty (I'm not sure how this place... passes inspection). Lunch was $12 +tax, Diner is $19+tax (which is a rip off). The food was not good this time and everythingbesides the sushi (which I'm guessing they get done next door) was bad including the sodas which were watered down. Won't becoming back anytime soon. Our family used to frequent this place 10-15 years ago, and for better or worse, very little haschanged. The food was good, fresh, hot and frequently replenished (they had a surprisingly large assortment of Sushi for theprice). They even had enough variety to accommodate people on a diet. However, aesthetic wise, like others have said, the placeis just run down. Its the same sticky chairs and tables that were there when I was a kid, the booths are beyond beat up at thispoint and overall the place just needs an update/deep clean desperately. That being said, I don't eat at places for the interiordesign, I eat there because the food is good, the service is decent (I was seated quick and the table was cleared quickly), andits affordable. It's hard to complain at $10 a person when other buffets in the area are charging double. If you're on a budgetor prefer food quality over looks it's fine, I just wouldn't take someone here on a date or business lunch. Excellent alternative if you have chronic constipation. Went to bathroom and heard two people making joyful noises behind... doors. We were here years ago and remember it was good back then. I just created a label on Google map "Don't go!" to remindmyself. Read more
Been their like twenty times in the past but the last time was the last . Dirtiest I?ve seen, lots of gum under the table... .sticky tables and unsanitary. Sushi and wonton soup is my usual but never seen gray tuna in my life and wontons were not firmor hot . Place needs a power washing with bleach ! Avoid this place Read more
