Beautiful place and kind people, but reservations ONLY which isn?t noted anywhere on the website, so we were turned away despite... a number of empty tables. We were allowed to have a drink on the lower deck, which was lovely, but I fail to see why we couldn?torder off the menu. Read more
Little escapade from Montreal on a beautiful Sunday with 30 Celcius. What a nice bike ride on the Isle La Motte! Life is just... marvellous. We stop by Ruthcliffe Lodge & Restaurant craving for some refreshment in the late afternoon... Kathy welcomed useven if they weren't open and served us excellent local beer. The view lake is relaxing, just very pleasant to sit on the deck.End up having dinner there. Excellent food/wine and service. The staff is very attentive. Family-owned/operated for more than 65years... that is the secret. Highly recommend. Will be back. Read more
It was a beautiful night for dinner on the porch looking out over a beautiful lake. The food was delicious. Service was good.... You are served bread, soup, side salad, entree with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes or pasta. Not cheap but fair prices. Read more
One of my favorite places for dinner with family and friends. This rustic lodge is right on the lake with a deck that?s perfect... for dining out in the summer and a dinning room that is charming. This food is great, save room for the desserts that arehomemade, and the wait staff is excellent. You can come here by boat, but call to let them know. Reservations are a good ideabecause it fills up quickly during July and August. Read more
Lovely place, lovely staff. Delicious breakfast, never-ending warm-up! It was a very relaxing stay. Very calm and peaceful... place. I wish I had more time to walk in the woods. The breeze is strong and even could deceive me as sea waves. The night skyis marvellous. I am really looking forward to being there soon. Read more
We love this restaurant and dine there 3-4 times each summer. You can't beat their Lake Champlain views and you can't beat the... quality of their food! And we love dining on their porch! Their food is consistently exceptional and service friendly andcasual. Try their lamb chops or their seafood pasta dishes. Fantastic!! Read more
