Give the pizza a average rating. Nothing special I had the meat pizza. If I was blindfolded I would have said pizza hut... overpriced. The wings were also average. Had a salad it was pretty good. Can't say enough for the decor it was great. Bartenderseemed high as a kite. Didn't seem friendly at all like a robot that needed oil. Read more
Stopped there during my vacation staying. Had the Cuban pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I ever eaten. Staff are awesome... and very helpful. Definitely a 5 star review for a great lunch experience. Read more
UPDATE: Mellow mushroom has been nothing but great with correcting my issue! And Chris reached out so quickly I was very... impressed. Although he wasn?t in today the other managers gave me no issues! thank you! My boyfriend ordered us a pizza therelast night that was suppose to come with a drizzle of blue cheese or ranch, we chose blue cheese and our pizza was drenched sowet it was inedible, not bc of the blue cheese just the amount of by the time we got home it made the pizza so wet it fell topieces as we picked it up, tried to call and no answer. Still 3 stars bc the pizza is good but had to be ate with a fork. Welive in Awendaw so it was too far to go back. Read more

Overall: A bit pricey, but Mellow Mush serves up some great pies. The good: We've had Mellow multiple times in different... locations, and the good news is that the pizza is always great. Lots of toppings, awesome crust, and interesting combinations.While it's a bit over-the-top, I dig the ambience of the restaurants too. Service at this location was friendly and ontime. The not-so-good: Three pieces of our carryout pizza had massive air bubbles, causing half of each of those those slicesto no sauce/toppings (pictured). I give them the benefit of the doubt though, hoping that it doesn't happen every time. Also,the prices are pretty high for pizza. $30 for a large is a bit extreme. This pizza place has a very friendly staff. Like they are ridiculously nice and that is so nice. The atmosphere is, as the name... says, mellow. I just wish I liked their pizza. I mean the toppings were great, the cheese was melty and the mushrooms wereawesome but man the dough did not hit well with me personally. They also have souvenirs. Read more
This is no ordinary pizza place. All you have to do is order the Holy Shitake pizza to discover that. It is one of the most... blissful pizzas ever. Whether on regular or gluten-free crust, it works wonderfully. Plain cheese pizza is good, not great.Salads are very nice and well-balanced. Wine selection is basic. Beer a little more interesting. The giant cookie sundae and thegluten free brownie were both very good. Service was extra friendly and attentive. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating andparking. Great for families. Read more
We have eaten here many times before and this was the worst experience ever! My husband picked up the pizzas and didn?t check... them until he arrived home. The pizzas were very overcooked. He called and they said he could call back in the morning becausethey were closing soon. I called back and they said they would replace them if we brought the original pizzas in. I brought themin however I?m beginning to wonder if they are the same pizzas reheated. They look the same as the first batch. I?m not sure ifthere are new cooks or what is happening but our favorite pizza place has now turned into the worst.
