Don?t normally review places, but our experience at the Mei Wah Beer Room was so welcoming and exceptional that I just had to... share the love and encourage others to visit this true gem of a tap room. We were a large group with lots of kids so were unsureif we could enter, but the friendly owners came to greet us at the door and told us they were kid friendly and that they evenhad some bunnies and goats in the side beer garden that the kids could pet. We all ordered a round of delicious, expertly pouredbrews and felt right at home as we settled into the beer garden. So next time you?re soaking up a day on the Delta, be sure tohit up Mei Wah, enjoy the exceptional beer selection, and support a local gem that welcomes everyone with open arms. Read more
I had the BEST time there with Iva.... she is SO cool.. if you ever get a chance to go ther you have to stop!!! Iva has the best... choices in beer... she is super welcoming, so friendly, and now I am merchered out.. .. I would give this place 10 stars if Icould. Read more
Twenty four craft beers on tap, many also in cans. Non-alcoholic options available. Indoor and outdoor seating. This building... was an opium den about a hundred years ago. Bartender was awesome. T-shirts for sale as well. Read more
GQ Magazine occasionally featured "the #1 bar on earth worth flying for" - well in my humble opinion, Iva Walton's bar in the... tiny Delta town of Isleton deserves such an accolade. A laid back atmosphere and an amazing selection of beer are sure to makeit a memorable visit. Bring your own food (or else ask Iva for a recommendation from one of the nearby stores) kick back, soakup some of the bar's unique history, or else sit outside in the patio area. Cool little place in the nearly ghost town of Isleton. Excellent varied selection of craft beers on tap. The owner is very nice... and friendly. Seems she puts a premium on engaging with her customers over pouring beer. I liked this; it made me slow down andsmell the hops. Read more
An interesting incarnation of a craft beer bar with a Chinese / Asian facade. The main part is the bar, with a bizarre ?opium... den? on one side. The staff is friendly and they let you bring the tasty BBQ in from ?Yes, My Sweet BBQ? down the street to eat.Nice beer selection and a good place to quench your thirst on a hot day - just don?t expect much Chinese historical or culturalsubstance. Excellent selection- both on tap and out of the cooler, excellent service, excellent vibe. I have been wanting to stop here for... a while now, and I'm so glad that I finally did. I absolutely will be back, and I highly recommend you stop by as well. Read more
