I found a shard of metal in my food. It is the last time I will be eating here. Pretty scary. Look at your food really well... before eating it. Sure it tastes great but I'll never eat here again. Surely they could have seen that when they were front therice but missed it. Don't wolf this stuff down if you give it to a kid look through it with a fork. I won't ever get it again.Reminds me of the pictures from when the national guard was protecting Biden. Also after i took the metal out and tried to eatthe rest of it there was a price of paper. a small peice but still. Never never again. Read more

Every time we were traveling from Austin to Dallas we were stopping here for their amazing fried rice. We had this place saved... and we have our specific order. Not sure what changed but the other day we were in a rush, ordered it to go to eat whiledriving, and the food tasted so bad both the wife and I ended up throwing ours in the trash after a couple of spoons. First time here. Shrimp fried rice is the best I?ve ever had!! They were not stingy with the shrimp either. I got the spicy one... and it was not overly spicy. Service was good and quick- about 15 min wait. The whole place was spacious and clean, even thebathrooms. Read more
We thought it would be a fast good buffet, but our food was made to order. Their lo mein box is very tasty with fresh... ingredients. The orange chicken was good but the size was inconsistent either too large or too tiny pieces. Our least favoritewas their fried rice which was soggy and plain. The service was friendly, the inside was clean. Definitely the better optioncompared to other places in the area. Read more
UPDATE: Since my first post... we've been back several times and Gil has ALWAYS delivered!! This place Rocks!!! Attention... TRUCKERS... They have truck parking!! First time here and we will definitely be back!!!!! How do you spell excellent customerservice at the Rice Box Express.... GIL!!!! Man, you rock!! You were awesome on the phone and exceptional in person! Even ifthe Chris Rice was just so-so we'd still come back because of your service!! Food was hot (heat) just spicy enough, and delicious! The Chris Rice was great...I am allergic to shellfish so I got chicken... and it wasn't boring! When they say taste before adding heat, please listen because medium was perfect if you like spicy! Read more
Mmkay well....Let me start by saying I read MANY reviews on this place....not all of them were good, But not all were bad. So to... start, the cashier was friendly and greeted me and was very polite, my food came out in a timely manner all things considered, Iordered the Combo fried rice...which, while nice and hot was kind of bland, but not bad, it was well cooked despite the lack offlavor. I also ordered fried pork dumplings, while slightly over done (to my liking at least) they weren't bad, tho the saucewas flavorless. I also ordered the two meat lo mein, which was nice and hot, plenty of flavor (after soy sauce) meat was wellcooked and shrimp was good as well. Over all not a bad experience, and despite all the bad reviews.....I did not take threebites and bolt for the bathroom (over dramatic people much). Price point was a little high, $32 bucks for three items,but....with the amount of lo mein and fried rice it kind of balances to a degree. I may stop in again if I'm down this wayagain.
