Very yummy! This is personal taste, but I do think they put too much black pepper on several of their dishes in my experience. I... don't like black pepper (and I am slightly allergic), but I force myself to eat it when the rest of the dish is good. Which itwas! Pictured is the Tofu Benedict. I really enjoyed the biscuit and the sauce w/ the coconut. I've encountered the blackpepper issue with multiple of their dishes, so next time I will have to ask them to modify if possible. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and got a recommendation from a waitress at another restaurant to visit this... vegan breakfast spot. It did not disappoint. Delicious food and coffee and wonderful service. They even have compostableutensils and containers. I'm so grateful for businesses like this. Wish I lived closer. Read more
I got the affogato, which was delicious. I highly recommend trying it. Stopping here was totally unplanned. I was on my way to... the finger lakes using my phone as navigation and my phone almost ran out of battery. I navigated here, and they were sofriendly and allowed me to use an outlet to charge my phone. Masks are provided at the door to wear. My absolute favorite place to eat in Ithaca. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is always superb. Plus the business... has publicly taken steps to make sure their staff are appropriately paid and tipped and kept healthy during the pandemic, whichis very important to me. I'm so glad Angelhearts has been open for takeout during a time when it's so important to keep everyone safe. Their food is... delicious, and they're so careful about packing it up so it'll be just as tasty when we get it home as it would be if we wereable to dine in right now. The trouble is, I can never decide whether I want breakfast or lunch. The breakfast sandwiches areso good, the sausage gravy is magical, the home fries are perfect. But the buffalo nuggets are also amazing, the burgers arestunning, and the cheesesteak is so decadent. It's all vegan, but as an omnivore myself, I can't get over how satisfying it allis when I'm looking for hearty diner food. Read more
Visiting from out of town and I love this place so much I had them back to back for breakfast. The Full Plate is indeed a full... plate, makes for perfect lunch leftovers. The next morning I had their biscuits & gravy which were tasty but the breakfastCrunchwrap was a hangover cure straight from the heavens. Another star are their breakfast potatoes, they have the tastiestcrisp to them. And if you thought it couldn?t get better, they made the best vanilla latte! Read more
