Food is not bad, but it is far too pricy for what you get. Empty at dinner in a collegetown, never a good sign.

I ordered the fish tacos and duck fat French fries. I really enjoyed the fries as I’ve never had them fried in duck fat... before. The fish tacos were good although each taco had a small cube of fish as you may see in the picture. Small might be agenerous word to describe it. Service was great and my family of five really liked our visit to Luna. I wish I could rememberour servers name because she was outstanding! I think it was Crystal but not sure. She really took care of us. Overall visit wasa 4 out of 5 which I feel my review is based on my itty bitty fishie tacos. The pineapple salsa needed some kick but then I’mfrom New Mexico so maybe it was fine for people back east Read more

Absolutely overpriced. I got a bean burger and fries for my lunch and both were very underwhelming and bad. The fries had a... weird taste and half of them were either way too hard and the other half were way to chewy. The burger itself was very mushywhich can somewhat be expected of a bean burger but it was also comically larger then the bun. The fried Oreos were very goodthough, the frosting on the side added some good flavors too it. My full order was around $40 which is insane. The burger costnearly $16 and while being Read more

Poorly run restaurant. We arrived at 10pm and were seated as a couple at a 6 top table. While waiting 15 minutes for our drinks... we were consistently asked for our table by large drunk groups. I asked if we could move to a smaller table but i was told thattable was reserved. Then, when the waitress took our order she said, "what do you want." After ordering we waited another 15mins for the food. As I was taking my first bite of fries and noticing an off flavor my wife realized her fish tacos wereextremely sub par as well. Well, it was about this time a grease truck showed up. They pulled up and parked right in front ofthe restaurant. The driver got out and asked the manager if she wanted to cancel the "delivery" since it would be rude to pumpgrease in front of customers. I heard her say, "no, we will make them move." Turns out, we were moved to the smaller table thatwas "reserved". Now, we just asked for the check so we could leave. Thankfully, they took off the price of the fish tacos, butwow, this experience has us shook. Ended up ordering dominoes while sitting at the table. Lol. What a gross night! Margaritawas good. I’ve been here before and the place is good I had there food with my friend around 10PM but I went there again and they asked... for ID and told us we needed to be over 21. Apparently if you want to dine in after 9PM you have to be 21 and have an ID. Theyshould say this somewhere because it makes no sense that I had to come here and not be able to eat here. I gave them a secondchance and I was able to go inside and eat. The food was terrible though. My appetizer tasted the best but had a piece ofplastic. The chips were salted to the point that you can feel the salt on your fingers. Just for picking it up. The chips werealso grouped up and you couldn’t separate them. The tacos were not that good and they had forgotten to give us our drinksuntil we asked again. The rice and beans were mid but I wouldn’t eat. Read more

This was my first time eating at Luna and it was during the global pandemic, so my experience was including their social... distancing and safety measures. Ordering on the iPad was a breeze. My partner and I ordered a taco special with the mezcalchicken tacos and the bulgogi tacos, wings, and Mexican poutine. The tacos came under-salted. The seasoning otherwise wasfine, and the bulgogi was delicious, but the chicken and the fried egg and guac needed salt. After we asked for salt, all of theflavors came together beautifully with just a pinch. Yum! The tajin Mexican poutine was a fun twist on poutine, but I wish the“curds” were a bit chunkier, and the gravy element was missing a bit, but the salsa was a fun replacement. Also I think itwas meant to cotija cheese, but we got feta. Either way, still innovative so that deserves 4 stars in my book. Definitely moretangy than comfort-y. Wings were great! We got boneless Buffalo. Perfect crunch and sauce! Read more

Three friends and I went to Luna's last night around 7pm. The menu looked nice and we hadn't tried the new location... yet. Ordered homemade lemonades which were tasty and came out in around 15min. At about this time, a larger party of about 8people was seated next to us. We waited a while, and perhaps around 7:30 our one appetizer came out. Then, at about 8pm, many ofthe entrees for the large nearby party arrived. Soon after, two of our entrees arrived. Both single bao buns, which we hadrather expected to include multiple bao buns given the price ( > $6). We waited and waited. 8:20ish the third entree arrives, and after much pleading with the waiters, we received our final entree at 8:45. 1 hour and 45 minutes to make a bowl of bulgogi. At this point, the table with the large party had already finished all of their meals. We had arrived BEFORE them and had fewerdishes. I truly don't understand why a restaurant would operate like this. The wait staff and the lemonades were lovely, butthose were the only positive aspects of this experience. I understand that almost every table was full last night, but it's inLuna's best interest to serve customers in a timely and reasonable fashion. In addition, prices are quite high given thequality/quantity of food. I won't be returning anytime soon. Read more
