Love the food from Mehak. Every time my boyfriend and I visit his family in Ithaca we make sure to order from this restaurant... and always enjoy it so much. We make sure to order extra so we bring it back with us to the city. All of their dishes have abeautiful traditional flavour. Highly recommend! Read more
It is known that stores give less in portion when it is takeout but this is absurd. For the amount I have to pay butter chicken... takeout is almost like half the portion of dine in? The rice is also hard and stuck together, how long ago was it made? Mygarlic naan was also soggy and there wasn?t really garlic flavor to it. I visited Ithaca today. I wanted to eat some spicy food and I found this restaurant and ordered one chicken biryani for togo. I... sat in car and opened it and there is no raita. Went back to get that and they are charging extra for raita. Which restaurantcharge for raita? At least if they given one raita and if you?re asking for second one that?s fine I could have paid. Theycharged me $16 with no raita and no proper box. I didn?t even dare to ask for spoon where they gonna definitely charge extra forthat. This is not even a proper biryani. Very delicious place! Definite try the paneer and the naans! I totally recommend it.
I wish they had dine in and I could try their lunch buffet but I could only try their speciality biriyani and really loved it.... Their samosa chat was above average but not great. Person there was really nice. Only thing that?s important to remember is YOUNEED TO ASK FOR CUTLERY otherwise you?d find yourself going back there again. Read more
We've been going to this place over the years and the food has been consistantly good. This time We ordered Paneer Tikka, Malai... kofta, aloo paratha and garlic naan. The tikka felt over-priced, tasted amazing, although the paneer wasn't really fresh but thevegetables were. They say its tandoori paneer tikka but really its just a sizzler. Read more
