Possibly the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We had the cheese board and jambalaya, which were both very tasty.... We ordered the tofu, and when our server brought it to us he mentioned it may be too salty and let us know it wouldn’t be onthe bill. He then also offered a free soup! We got the sweet potato and corn soup which was really good! Later on, our serverrealized it was my birthday and offered a free dessert. But, he gave us two desserts!! Lastly, we also received a sticker freeof charge from another employee. I’ve never been treated so kindly haha. Read more

My friends and I were visiting from NJ, and our friend brought us here for lunch. I'm not a vegetarian but I still fully enjoyed... this restaurant! We stopped by for lunch and their food was so good. I had the jambalaya and it was simply delectable. Ifinished every bit and it left me wanting more! I also tried some of my friend's potatoes on the side and to be honest theymight be some of my favorite potatoes ever. Lightly crispy on the outside but fluffy and delicious on the inside. I tried toorder it on the side, but they were a bit disappointing and more undercooked, probably because the kitchen was swamped and theydidn't really have time to tend to a side order of potatoes. Still, the food overall was great and would highly recommend! Thecocktails were also great, give those a try also! Read more

Best veggie burger I've ever had so far but it's crazy filling. French fries were phenomenal, I'm a potato fan. Quinoa bowl was... so light and refreshing but flavorful. Service was quick but I arrived at opening. The pricing was super fair for the portionsand food quality. Read more

I've lived here for three years now and I'd never been to Moosewood. I'm glad I finally got the chance to go to this place! It's... got a unique atmosphere to it, it feels vintage. I got the daily special, which had a soup (I went with the mushroom bisque), atossed salad and a small bread basket. I topped it off with the ginger honey tea and a brownie a la mode. I was surprised at howgood the brownie was! I think there was extra cinnamon in it, it gave it a unique spicy flavor that I really enjoyed. I willdefinitely be back! Read more

Curry was delicious, red-bean jambalaya was pretty good. Clearly marked vegan and gluten free options on the menu. Great... service, and the food was brought out quickly! Read more

We had brunch outside! Very modern style and good atmosphere! The staff were nice and the food was not only healthy but also... tasty! Bean burger was 4.5/5, tomato soup 4.5/5, salad 4/5! However the mashed sweet potato was 3/5. Read more

If you see our smiles before we went in, you'll see we were excited. The staff was pleasant, but alas, that was the only... positive point. My review will mirror many others, and looking back it would have been better to follow those than the adviceothers told us second hand. The menu was extremely limited. Only one option was planned vegan, but the waitress struggled tosell it, so I went with the black bean burger without cheese. The coleslaw was flavorless, and the burger was plain. The savinggrace was the aioli, the only flavorful part. The potatoes were decent, but as others have mentioned, rather dry. I saved mypickle until the end, because it is impossible to have a fault with a pickle. In over three decades, countless pickles, I'venever turned one away. Somehow this had the sourness of old milk to it. As a weirdo, it isn't uncommon to eat a jar of picklesas a serving, and homemade are always the best. This is the first pickle I've ever not finished. But their chocolate cake islegendary, right? When Icarus flew too close to the sun, he must have brought this cake. I'm impressed with how dry this cakecould be, being fresh, and how unflavorful it was. My wife was astonished that after a few small bites I had stopped. Shepowered through, but her face made it clear her stance. It isn't that this place didn't live up to the hype. And it isn't eventhat the food was subpar for the price. It was a disappointment for a meal, and it's sad that the best part of the experiencewas a raspberry on the side. Read more

I hadn't been there in a good 6+ years, and am happy to say it is as good as I remembered! The vegan chocolate cake (what I... remembered -the most-) was just as good as the first time I tried it. Absolutely worth the lunch trip! Get there early thoughas it does get fairly busy, fairly quickly. Read more
