While waiting for my car to be worked on next door at Midas (great place, btw), I had the Tequila Shrimp Tacos at Old Mexico.... First, I was given some really good chips and salsa (lots of each) and stuffed myself on that. Then, the tacos arrived (plusrice and beans) and...wow. Big tacos, lots of shrimp, and definitely more than I *should have* eaten. I would have taken onehome to eat later, but since I was waiting for my car, I ate all three. Extremely delicious! Average Food. Terrible Service. I was served in a broken plate (Picture Attached) and when brought to server's notice, it... seemed as if she did not care. The food was pretty average and no one checked on if the food was good or not. Read more
Had the lunch fajitas, while it was good I thought maybe a larger portion with the fixings like lettuce, tomato, cheese and... guacamole would have been a nice addition. The salsa was pretty bland but adding some hot sauce made it better. I did like thefood though. I have ate here in the past and was good. Read more
This place was delicious. Since I moved to NY from CA, I hate getting Mexican food. So happy we decided to eat here while... staying down the street. The free chips were perfect, the fancy margarita was amazing, and the shredded chicken in my moleenchilada was fantastic. Servers were super kind. I would happily eat here again. Read more
Well I tried and tried to talk to them I WAS BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!! They had BUGS!! SOme kind of flying ant looking things !!!... And had a couple land on my food! I did not want to cause a scene so I took food to go then trashed it! When I called I got runaround and was told I would get a call back I called 4xs no call back!! DONT SUT BY WINDOW!!! We were first taken to a dirty table. The hostess asked if we would like a different seat!! Well duh!!???? It definitely left me... wondering about their covid protocols. Or the lack thereof. We ordered the shrimp, steak and chicken fajitas. We got 1 shrimpand one slice of onion!! I don't like overly spicy food but this was super bland. Not one thing of the night out screamed goback there. I think Panera would have been better. We got a margarita and that was pretty good. Read more
