The steak I got was butterflied and parts of it tasted like fresh natural gas and I didn't finish it. The bloomin onion was a... little more greasy than I've seen at other places and wish they had a different dipping sauce than straight horseradish. Thesalad was awesome and the other sides were good. But the steak really turned me off for a place that puts the word steak intheir name. Maybe I'll try the seafood if I ever go back and see if it is worth it. My parents went to eat at this restaurant, they were told the wait was 45 minutes and they would be called. After 1 hour and... ten minutes my dad walked back into the restaurant to inquire about the wait time. He was told he would be next. After waitingan additional hour and watching others who arrived after them receive service, my dad and mom began to wonder if this wasracial. They were the only blacks waiting. ***Update**** This place still has the best steak! We recently moved to Alabama. We are back in GA for the weekend, and this was... our first stop. We love eating here! We have been twice, and we love it. The steak is delicious! We both planned on trying theseafood last time, but when the steak is this good ... You just have to order it again. This place is super chill. Nothingfancy. Shorts, t-shirt, jeans, flip flops, tennis shoes, sun dresses... No judgement here. It's just good people, serving somereally good food. Read more
I had heard Jimmy's was good from a few people. Not what I was expecting once inside but the food was soooo good. The buffalo... shrimp appetizer with ranch was the best. I could have made that my meal! I got the filet and fried broccoli. The steak was sotender and I really enjoyed the broccoli as well. Would definitely go back! Read more
The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I went to celebrate my 20th wedding Anniversary with my daughter and boyfriend... since we were on vacation and we didn't realize that they closed at 9pm and we got there around 8:30pm and quickly ordered ourdrinks and dinner and then was surprised with an ice cream sundae. The staff was amazing and told us to take our time and enjoyour dinner and we left around 9pm. Dinner, drinks and dessert were delicious. Not once did we feel rushed and it was our lastnight in town and they made us feel like we were regulars that came in everyday for a bite to eat. I can honestly say that our server Rebecca was the best server I?ve had dining out since the pandemic happened in 2020. Good... service is really hard to find. She wasn?t just good. She was exceptional. She engaged in conversation with our entire family,she gave good recommendations, never had to go without anything to drink, dinner was hot, and when we got our bill it was under$100 for a party of 5. The owner is the RUDEST woman EVER! There will be a bunch of people standing at the door waiting to be seated, and she wont even... take the time to say give us one minutes or we will be right with you. She can answer that phone and take phone orders but youcan't even acknowledge the people that are making you money.
