My daughter and I went to Cracker Barrel August 13 on Saturday, for dinner. We had a short wait for table. Waitress came right... away. Food did not take long. Waitress was good, can't remember her name. But, by fireplace and kitchen , thank you . Food wasdelicious. I had 4 piece Fried chicken, alittle bit crispy but good. Mashed potatoes and carrots great. Nice warm place to eat.The cashier was a young man name, Tanner. He was so nice and polite. We talked about the store and the things that was in it.This was the Jackson, MI , Cracker Barrel. I give this place a 3-star. This is my favorite place to eat breakfast, but unfortunately, when I was there this morning I... ordered my food, and let me just say that I love the NEW option on the menu to create your breakfast for $8.99 what a greatdeal! On the other hand, the service was great until I got my food things seemed to get forgotten and when I was there it wasnot busy at all. The food was impeccable! Ahmad is a fabulous cook. The overall reason I couldn?t give a 5 star but would bewilling to change based on my next visit is because of forgetful service and not very clean restrooms I felt as if I had toleave to use the bathroom. Had the cod fish fry Friday, and they give you plenty of fish, but the fish tasted old and had hard pieces in it that didn't... look like bone. I don't know what it was.
