This place is a joke. They have the worse service ever. I'm a door dasher. I go inside with phone and door dash bag in hand. I... have to wait a good 15 min. before even being asked a name for who I'm picking up for. It's ridiculous, especially when you'restanding the 15 min. and lobby is not even busy, then a couple customers come in, go to counter, order their stuff. They waitbarely 5 min. and here I'm still waiting. Our door dash ap tells us pick order up by a certain time and drop off by a specifictime. I'm always late dropping off when I have to pick up from Popeyes. I always apologize to customer either through text or inperson. But that's ridiculous. And then to top it off, the employees are rude. One woman argued with me about the name I'mpicking up for. I turned my phone and showed proof of the name. She still wanted to argue saying I had already picked it up. I'mtelling her no, I literally just got the run and was parked on the other side of Arby's restaurant. I got order and came rightto Popeyes, not even 2 min. away. You really need new employees. This is NOT the only time this happens. I went here today and the manage that took my order name latoria was so nice she was patient and very kind. She made my... experience worth it. I?ve been to this Popeyes a lot of time, but she is one of the nicest employees I came across and thechicken was hot and fresh. If they keep this attitude up, they will have a lot of people coming. Wow, I finally took the opportunity to visit Popeyes restaurant in Jackson, Michigan. I have never had their chicken before so I... was eager to try it I got the five piece chicken strip meal. What a disappointment my strips are so thin they were breaded itwas like eating jerky I usually share my chicken meal with my cat, she wouldn't even eat it she tried and she just left itthere. Also I might add when I got home the first thing I did was put the straw on my soda a Sprite. The Sprite was totally clubsoda. So no one's checking the drink bags. The biscuit was like a dry hockey puck tasted a flour. The only good thing I have tosay the mac and cheese is pretty good other than that my whole meal was a waste and cost me $13.00+ I gave you the star for themac and cheese I don't see myself returning to try it again been waiting a long time I'm on social security disability I treatedmyself to this meal and it was actually non-edible. Haven't been to a Popeyes in years. This location is a joke. Will take FOREVER to get food. The employees are slow and... unmotivated. When you walk in they ignore you until they are good and ready. Never ended up getting food because we got tired ofwaiting for someone to even acknowledge my presence. Didn't so much as at least say they'd be with us in a moment. Read more
On the 3rd I was in and ordered the hush puppy shrimp. Got home and the only thing in the box was the shrimp and it wasn?t... fresh. I called in and spoke with Elsa. She said the come back in and she would replace the fries and biscuit. IMO the entireorder should have been replaced but whatever. I go back today and ordered some chicken and followed the instructions Elsa toldme to get the food that was missing, only to be told that I needed to come back when Elsa was there. After speaking to themanager on duty she finally conceded and gave the missing food. I get home and let me tell you?the fries were tough! I neverhad tough fries. The biscuit was dry and has to have been under lamps too long and the chicken ???? it was dry and rubbery. Isuspect they are dropping food back in the oil to make it ?hot? again. It?s not worth going and taking a chance on the foodbeing right because if it?s wrong the restaurant won?t make it right. But if you really are craving Popeyes I would suggestpaying with a credit card so if things go south you have recourse-just dispute the charge. So me and my fiancée went in for lunch. First time for him but second time for me. I knew they were bland but didn?t expect it... to be worse then the last time. Waited a good 15-20 minutes for my nuggets. They were fresh but tasted funny. The only reallygood part of my meal was the soda and biscuit. Not even half way through my meal, the manager wearing the headset and one of thecooks started yelling at each other. Felt bad for the guy for doing a good job making sure the chicken was fresh. The manager onthe other hand was upset that he was dropping more chicken while they still had some in their little warmer. I would give thatguy a promotion but I think he got fired cuz they sent him home. Probably won?t be coming back. Not worth 11 bucks of terribletasting food and 3 dollar charge for Mac n cheese. Worst Popeyes I have ever seen. So I LOVE Popeyes and was excited when this was finally built. The first few time I got food... here it was great except the wait times cuz everyone wanted it and there was insane lines. That is all fixed how but the foodthey put out is junk. I ordered a 4 piece and specifically asked for 2 thighs and 2 legs. What I received was a leg and a thighand 2 wings all of which look shriveled and old. I called to see what can be done and the manager Eric did say he will replacethe chicken and specified that they replace each piece that is brought in. It's a jackson thing I guess ????. The order was correct for my lemonade and and my coke. That's it, everything else was... wrong. I order a 5 piece chicken tender and got 3 wings and a breast. I order a regular chicken sandwich plain and get a fullyloaded blackened chicken sandwich. People seemed nice but I would like to say that if I'm going to pay that much for fast foodit should most definitely be right. Read more
