We've been here a few times since they finally have dining room open. You have to order and pay at kiosk now but they will help... you if needed. Drinks are self serve. Even though prices have gone up everywhere, they still have their 3.99 meals and thedouble steakburger with cheese and side of fries is delicious. They still have Happy hour half price shakes and drinks. (2 till4 weekdays I think) A very tasty inexpensive lunch! Read more
Food was good, place was pretty clean. Unfortunately S&S apparently can't pay MI's ridiculous minimum wage for entry level jobs.... No wait staff at all, just kiosks. Sad to see those entry level jobs gone. I hope this place survives when minimum wage jumpsto$12/hr in a couple months. Read more
Stopping for a quick lunch and we weren't disappointed. Four kiosks are available for ordering as there are not ant counter... individuals to assist. Our food came timely and the restaurant was very clean. Next time I think we'll try their shakes. Youcan't beat their $3.99 Burger and Fry combinations. Our first experience at Steak & Shake since before the pandemic. The kiosks were new. Are all locations like this now? The... food was good, my son enjoyed it too and he got a cotton candy milkshake for the road. Read more
Love this place and the changes! Super fast drive thru, and now you can dine in peace.
Food is still great, but I want thrilled with the drive thru experience we had the other day. It was busy and they clearly gave... our order to another car since there were 4 of us waiting past the window and the 3 cars behind us all got their food brought tothem and left while we sat there waiting. After about 10 minutes we were asked what we ordered and then they hurriedly went backinside and made the food over again and brought it out 10 more minutes later in a plain bag with no receipt or anything. So just got steak n shake and my burger is half pink on the inside. And two of the shakes were more whipped cream than ice... cream. Just terrible. Read more
We hadn't been to Steak and Shake in a long time, and really only ended up there due to Wendy's drive through being full.... Started out great with our order being taken by Darrel, or Daryl. He was very nice, and we could hear him clearly. When wereceived our order, again it was Darrel (Daryl) who waited on us. Any business would be better with. Person as nice as he was tous. Fantastic service! The order was not only correct, but hot...and very good. This was our first time using the drive-throughhere, and we will again.
