This was the first visit for five out of six in our group. Had a great server, his name was Chris. We sat outside on Friday for... lunch and stayed for hours. Enjoyed some great beer options and delicious food. This is located in the downtown area of Jackson.It is obviously a great place for the locals and there is often a wait at lunch. Stopped in on a Monday during dinner rush for food and drinks and everything was great! And it came out quick! We got a crispy... buffalo chicken sandwich with loaded potato wedges and an order of tenders with a few different sauces. Our favorite sauce wasthe sweet chili ranch. Our sever Gary was on point! Made sure we had everything we needed and had some great suggestions on whatto order. Will be back!! Read more
The meal was ok. Nothing special though. Our waiter was trying his best but the place was packed so the service was super slow.
Got 10 chicken wings and a 3 tenders meal. Ordered cajun dry rub on 5 and sweet chili ranch on the other 5. The sweet chili... ranch tasted good but there was almost no Cajun rub on the others and tasted like I was eating plain wings. The tenders were bigand crispy with decent flavor. The ranch dipping sauce was really watered down. Our server was pretty good. Probably will trysomewhere else when we want chicken. Read more
An absolutely exquisite dining delight. The food is more than reasonably priced the drinks are excellently priced as well and if... you're a fan of chicken or things based around chicken this is definitely the place to go. There are of course other options butchicken is the go-to. Definitely definitely will be back again! I only wish I would have gotten some photos to add to this! Read more
Always try something new on menu and always happy with meal. Last visit we had gotten some more than done fried pickles. To say... the least. The waitress was ready and willing to get a fresh batch without our asking to then explain she wanted us to enjoy thefull correct flavors. It was much appreciated. First time here at The Dirty Bird. There?s a parking lot across the street so that?s already a plus. The place has a very live... vibe. There?s TV to watch sports/news. There?s outside seating if you want to feel Jackson, Michigan breeze :). Food: the foodwas good but nothing different that I?ve had somewhere else. A lot of fried and finger foods. The chicken was cooked well. Supercrispy outside and tender inside. I ordered some fried shrimp it was not what I expected, looked like something from a fast foodrestaurant (they can do better), however the sauce they added was made it much better. Loved the pretzel. Drinks: they havelots to choose from so that?s a plus if that?s what you came for! Service/Staff: very, very friendly. I love when staff makesyou feel welcome. Our waitress was super friendly I wish I got her name. But you may not see her when you come because shemoving ;). Overall was a three and a half star experience. Came for a lunch meeting and had one of the best Cobb Salads I have had in a long time! Great service and ambiance.
