Incredible food, ambiance, and service! My wife has a sirloin while I had the tenderloin. This was the best steak that I have... had in Jackson! We each had truffle mashed potatoes (Incredible) and ceasar salads as a side. I loved every minute of our timethere and would highly recommend Veritas and its unique and delicious food. Read more

INCREDIBLE food! I came here while attending a concert with my mom. We live about two hours from this place and I have been... contemplating coming all the way back just to eat here again! Had our anniversary dinner here Friday night, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice live music, service was great, food was all... excellent, except for my dry aged ribeye steak, very disappointing for the price ($48), and surprising because the reviews forthe steak were very good. It was cooked medium rare like I ordered, but it was grisly, very tough to chew, hard to believe itwas dry aged. Oysters were fresh and delicious, crab cakes were wonderful, and our chocolate cake we received complimentary forour anniversary was very rich and delicious. This place is great for romantic dinners. Also, nice for celebrating any occasion. I recommend reserving a table if you don’t... like to wait. I had no problem but just in case they get busy. I had the steak and I added a lobster tail, it was cooked toperfection. My husband had the firewood salmon and it was delicious. I had a Japanese sidecar cocktail. Yum???????? Read more
