Arrived just before closing, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. There was great live entertainment and the... drinks were well made. I can't recall our gentlemen server's name but very personalable, familiar with menu items and offerinsight on choices and accommodating to our preferences, he reads his customers well through brief conversations. Good service. Ordered the Brisket Flatbread for an appetizer, it was delicious! Will definitely order again. I also ordered the... fish and chips. The fries were okay, nothing amazing. But the fish was great, very well done along with their house tartarsauce. If you like Margaritas order their house margarita. Nice twist on a classic. Read more
?Twas the day of my Birthday and all through my house, my belly rumbled and even gave a great shout. Thus my excursion to... Barrelhouse began. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly server. After a short look at the menu, I decided upon the chickenfinger dinner with green beans and tater tots as my sides. Everything was superb, except the green beans. They lacked seasoningand tasted as if they had been delivered from my high school?s cafeteria! However, three points for the atmosphere, service, andthe rest of my entree. Read more
Nice restaurant with a unique menu and great customer service. Michael was wonderful, and he had great food and drink... recommendations. The tator tots have a special seasoning like none other I've ever had, and the pimento cheese bits were great.I had a brownie type dessert that was the perfect ending to a great meal. Customer service is decent. Hostest forgot we was waiting outside to order our food. After about 15 minutes we decided to go... back in. Finally a guy waiter told us to find us a seat. He then got our drink orders. The food took way to long to come out.The greens was sweet. I didn't care for them at all. The catfish was good but no dill pickles only sweet pickles disgusting. Noonions and way to much salt on my cold French fries. My friend enjoyed his grilled chicken dinner with greens and blacked eyePeas. But it's definitely a no go back for me. Read more
Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant and I don?t plan on coming back. We went for lunch but the food was nothing to... brag about. The best thing was the beer battered onion rings. I had the fish and my friend ordered a chicken sandwich. She saidher sandwich tasted like it was fried in fish grease. The worst thing was our waiter, Jordan. He took our orders, gave us thefood, and then spent the rest of the time at the bar talking and laughing with the bartender and another gentleman. It wasn?tbusy at all. At one point we were the only people in the restaurant. Three other people came in and were seated. Jordan wastheir waiter but never came back to their table so one guy went and got him so he could take their orders. When you come in make sure you check the ketchup bottles. Brown/black around the rim. Mold!! Found this on multiple bottles when... trying to find a clean one. The bottle pictured is after asking one from behind the bar still mold. Also had a weird taste. Becareful when ordering fish, tasted a little past it?s prime. Read more
