Was an amazing food and service, Adriana and Willian were very kind with us, they always made sure to make us feel confortable, ... I definitely recommend “La canoa” (Sweet plantain with shrimp) the mussels and the “Camarones al ajillo” wasdelicious!!!! We got “Fresquita” was an amazing cocktail! It’s good but it can be sooo much better to get those Five stars. Ordered wings and the tostones con ropa vieja. The tostones ... and ropa vieja were on point, but the wings are not house made they are from a bag of Tyson fried wings. Come on, you can dobetter than that. For the entrees we ordered Paella(which was perfect!), arroz chaufa (amazing!), Sea bass breaded with pankoand coconut flakes (not crusted like it says in the menu, crusted and breaded is not the same thing) w/ shrimp on garlic sauce.Then again the sea bass was from a package from Dairyland,Cysco foods, or Baldor, it’s not made in-house. For what you paythey should make everything in-house. The staff it’s friendly and attentive, the drinks are good, the music was on point,bathroom was clean (the whole place was). So yeah, it’s a nice place to hang out and have drinks and a frozen bite. Thefrozen food just take away from what can be an amazing place. I will give it another chance and will try out more food items. Ireally hope they stay away from the frozen food, and make those place more original. Read more

Bocaito has been very popular around Jackson Heights for quite some time now. I've had a different experience each time I go,... but overall is a decente place to have a few drinks and food. The food at Bocaito is tasty, especially the small bites (cavichemixto) is very fresh, calamari was crispy and cooked to perfection The drinks are delicious and, they have a nice variety ofcocktails, wines and beers. The music is good and although the restaurant itself needs some TLC especially the back garden, it'snice to have the option to sit in the backyard or out front. Food was delicious. Drinks were good EXCEPT you get different sizes of the same drink for every order. We ordered 4 frozen mango... margaritas and they came in different sizes (not worth the money - 2 came in martini glasses, 1 in a large beer jug, and anotherin a tall glass). Our server brought us a drink served in a patron bottle and she spilled half of the first bottle when shebrought it, apologized but didn’t get a new one. Servers are forgetful and others are so rude ????. Busy, packed, tight spots- if you’re COVId concerned - def not the place to be. Come during a less busy time and enjoy the food and drinks and maybebetter service? The host is really nice! Read more
Great food. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Good people. Good workers. Great chef. I was going to give it a 4 stars because we... waited over 1h 1/2 but the food was good. If you come here get the platter of food. Not only would you save money but it canfood about 3-4 people. Also ask for the pink sauce when you order this monstrosity of a meal. Enjoy! Read more
This was our second experience with Bocaito. Love the place and specially bartender. Yanetsy. I did not have a great experience... with so called manager or owner. At the beginning she hesitated to give her name regarding a dispute on the bill. Honestlywasn’t about the bill in general, it was a question about an extra charge. For her to come out saying “it is what it is”wasn’t empathetic at all. Attitude and very ghetto. I wasn’t pleased at all. I actually have experience with customerservice for 22 years myself. Gave her some educated tips. Had family and friends over. Won’t be returning at all!!!! Read more
